I can't trigger the last quest, the one with the conversation in the pub (did Adamant and Wicked hearts). It's my approval not enough? if that's so where I can raise it?

If it's an approval issue, you can kill darkspawn to raise his approval (if you get the quest to seal the darkspawn tunnels in the Storm Coast). I suppose you could also try Valammar to find darkspawn - I think the one near that bridge respawns.

If he left the party already due to story progression then I think it's too late. He leaves after both missions are done, but only if you choose to leave Skyhold after returning from one of the two missions provided that one of them was done prior to the last completed.

I finished the fetch quest and he is still in my party. I suppose the problem it's an approval thingy...
