ME1: Shady Alliance military black ops with a pro-human agenda.
ME2: Unrealistically rich, knowledgeable, influential and technologically advanced non-government agency.
ME3: Sith Empire.

Yeah. No Cerberus anymore. PLS

If Cerberus shows up one more time in this franchise, I will mail an envelope full of bullet ants to BioWare.

I'm sure they could. I just don't think they need to

For me, a large part of the appeal for the prospect of a new ME game - which I was kind of on the fence about to start - was the idea of seeing the lasting consequences my decisions had and what impact they had on the development of the Milky Way.

That would require three vastly different games or picking a canon ending.  I don't see either option satisfying anyone but a small number.  So if they can't make everyone happy and they're going to get heat anyway, they might as well make the game they want and make it the best it can be.

No, Cerberus would accidentally release all the bullet ants into their own base, causing the suffering and eventual death of all Cerberus staff involved.

N7 is the new Cerberus. The Guild of Elusive Men will be the new antagonists.

Fair enough, your preference, your money.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Andromeda.

They're just going to say that the races are successfully colonizing the Milky Way, with a vast array of body modifications (may or may not be Synthesis), and this is an expedition to a new galaxy.

I love Cerberus, and I've enjoyed working with them in ME2 and I admired TIM.  TIM is one of my favorite ME characters...  I even had Cerberus logo tattooed.

But I don't want another pro-human group like them in the game..  Maybe a pro-milkyway group ? LOL idk.

You do know Mac Walters is creative director now? Andromeda is likely to turn out even MORE human-centric than the Milky Way.

Man, my enthusiasm continues to lower.

I fully appreciate just how difficult of an undertaking it would be. I still think it's an undertaking worth attempting.

More than anything I think this factors into my waning interest; I know Bioware's always going to take the easier route. And they should; as a business move that's definitely the smarter course. Getting over-ambitious has lead to many a game crumbling under it's own weight.

But still, I'd like to see some real risk taking again.

I was thinking of something more radioactive. Not the kind that give you super powers though. The kind that give you diarrhea.

Four. Refuse is also an option. ;)

Well, the bite of a Brazilian wandering spider can cause priapism, which I guess you could say is a kind of superpower. :)

That one's easy, though. Select a world state, select refusal, camera pans over the corpses of civilization, game over, back to start screen.

Reaper genocide takes centuries. Imagine - a whole game about the endless mechanical unfeeling genocide perpetrated by the reapers. Like Priority: Earth, but forever

Seriously, not finding a way around the ending of ME3 so we have to ditch all the things we love, all the characters we love and the unexplored 97% of the galaxy sucks.

I am simply not interested in starting the world building from scratch because the ending of ME3 was a bad mistake...

I might pick this up in a bargain bin (real or virtual) but there is NO WAY I pay more than 30% of full price for it. And that's of course if it gets good reviews.

dude... you are gonna get bashed by hardcore Bioware cults no doubt. I have the same crap as yours and started a "Save the Milkyway thread" months ago... guess what? Bioware trashed my thread and migrated the "who needs the milkyway thread" here. You are not alone on this, many are just going to bite the bullet. Others are not on the forums but are expressing confusion and disappointment

Could I offer you some alternatives? many are available on Steam like Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I'm saving up for a budget PC right now that can run most new games better than a PS4 or Xbone
