To be fair, the number of people who get excited about both Dragon Age and golf games may not be huge. But the upcoming Rory McIlroy PGA Tour 15 was developed in Frostbite 3, it had an X-Treem Awesome Amped-Up Trailer!!1!!one! featuring a BATTLEFIELD 4 ship crashing on a beach 100 yards ahead of some dude teeing off, and something along those lines will apparently be included in the game, as a "fantasy golf" sort of level.

I say we Dragon Age fans should get a piece of this action.

I'm envisioning a nice leisurely 18 holes, built around sections of the Hinterlands, with some nice ~*THATCHED ROOF COTTAGES!!!*~ along one edge, maybe a swampy bit toward the middle, and a cranky dragon whose lair is not far out of bounds. A little witty banter from the announcers would give the writers a chance to get all sorts of stupid golf puns out of their system.

I'm not saying they need to put The Iron Bull in a little vest and make him your caddy, but that wouldn't be bad. You know FPJ would come in and record lines like "I dunno, boss, the nine-iron seems pretty weak. Just hit the **** out of it with the wedge" with little to no encouraging.

If it sells, or if developers just enjoy doing it, maybe we can get a Mass Effect alien planet course at some point. Meanwhile, anything done in Frostbite 3 would be fair game.

BAHAHAHA! Yes, I totally heard The Bull saying that. But even then, golf is even more boring than any fetch quest (except maybe shards). But if you get a hole in one, I suppose that could spawn a fade rift...

And you can be rewarded with 1/115 shards for every win. The complete set of shards will let you access a temple with nothing interesting in it.
