MP is all drama. Anyone else thinks that Bioware should focus on the SP first?

I don't see the mutual exclusively of those. Even though you should have all rights in the world to make the SP turn based, people who use skill are no less entitled to the game. For your case, I really hope they do have a purly turn based option.

welcome to mass effect modern warfare 3, where we appeal to the lowest common denominator and the story doesnt matter.

-love, EA

I think thats exactly what those BF and COD kiddies would like to see. Anyway. Giving us a bad SP with focus on MP, will make many many customers really angry.

Actually, turn based games can be quite challenging. I still have problems with many bosses in FFX. Expecially if I don't level a lot.

No they want that Bioware should focus on MP and bring out a SP nobody cares about. Like the single player campaing In BF4

Agreed SP first. MP gives the game longevity but ME's success (ignoring the ending) was always based on a good story with good characters

I really enjoyed MP in ME3 it was fun and kept me playing the game between DLC. I would very much like to see them improve on it a bit and have it be way better then DAI MP that is just simple and yeah its can be fun but it gets old after a while with just the one mode.

Isn't that what you are doing as well.  Even after your thread was locked for that reason you just made it again and you started bumping your own thread then when "My other account is banned" called you out on it you reported him and had his post removed.

You made this thread to contradict the other one and troll MP gamers in here.  Sure everyone has an opinion, but you can't take the high ground when at the same time you are doing things like that.

Read my first post again. I posted my opinon because of all those MP fanatics who wants to screw the SP.

I also said that I enjoyed the MP in ME3 myself, but the priority should be on the single player.

So I dont really want to contradict those who like the MP. It is fun and it will extend the longitivity of the game, but its the epic story I want to buy. Not a grindy multiplayer. There are hundreds of grindy multiplayer games. Like BF and COD etc. If ME:A is going to be one of those with a crappy short SP campaign, Im done with the franchise, like many others.

Thats what I wanted to express. If you think that is trolling, report it.

edit: And if you still dont believe my intentions, check my other post I made a while back.

The MP people are never serious so don't take it to heart if someone says "Focus on MP cuz SP sucks." They are just silly goof balls. But when bait is thrown out like that the best thing to do is just, um.....ignore it. Of course that wouldn't be any fun though now would it.

....and reporting is for bebes.

I bet those people disagree with you :)

And I like I said want a good MP too, but the SP is the reason I buy the game.

Well, I'm one of those goofy MP people  so I know how they are. Trust me, they like to mess with people in a good way (well, most of the time)

I support everyone who wants a good MP too, but not at the costs of an epic SP.

DAI:MP is boring like hell. I hope ME:A MP will get more DLC's in a shorter time frame like in ME3.

Epic SP comes first.

Epic MP is a bonus (and is a ton of fun).

I'd like both to be excellent and I see no evidence that one will be cannibalised in favour of the other.

Look, ME3 MP was a lot of fun for a month or so until eventually you are royally burned by the RNG loot system.   I haven't played it since the day the Geth packed was released and burned 2 million credits trying to unlock the Geth and never got one.

That said..  I don't care about the MP of any game.   If it doesn't have a solid and enjoyable SP experience I don't buy it.  MP is an extra added value, but honestly it needs to be a completely separate package.   No more readiness effects in SP.    Also preferable it shouldn't be forced to "feel" like the SP controls either.    I largely blame the MP in Inquisition for the scaled down lack of tactical combat in the SP game.    Clearly they were shooting for parity of controls across both SP and MP games and it killed the tactical feeling of the series.

ggs @ ninja editing the title to the same as that of your locked thread. Congrats on 11 pages of lolSP baddie jealously. All that is required is replacement of the SP campaign feature with an MP tutorial called git gud mode.

I'll give my serious thought for once about MEA. I hope that the game overall is excellent, both SP and MP. I love the whole trilogy (ME1 probably being my favorite.) I know people were upset with ME3 and I understand the reasons. Crappy ending aside, I enjoyed the rest of the game very much personally even if it had flaws in the story and what not. ME is still one of my favorite game franchises and hopefully MEA will be a kick-ass game. But since we pretty much know nothing about it, we'll just have to wait and see.  :)

Me too. I don't even play multiplayer, I want a great story.

Then you came to the wrong franchise.

I wouldn't be so mad if they do what Bloodborne did and have an online/offline play option open. Where you can play solo without losing any aspects to online and vice versa. That way people won't be so upset about losing SP to MP (if it ever came down to that).

Actually, It's quite the contrary. Most of the fandom don't even know Many of the details that make the ME franchise great. In other words, They don't pay much attention to the game.

No, It's narrative is derivative, as well as full of plot holes and idiot ball. The characters and the mechanics carry it.

The plot is full of holes to some because they don't know the details that fill these plot holes. That's my point. The narrative is brilliant. BioWare is one of the best storytellers in the gaming industry. The characters are decent and the gameplay mechanics got better as the games went ahead but the gameplay is somewhat irrelevant if the story is decent.
