MP is all drama. Anyone else thinks that Bioware should focus on the SP first?

I don't get what you're talking about here. Which decisions needed to carry over but didn't.

In ME2 I had a couple of games where I worked really hard to get Tali and Legion to work together.

IN ME3 I expected a number of endings, (8 endings are listed) in addition to wining or loosing the war; living or dying; I expected -

1) if I sided with Tali in ME2 geth are destroyed;

2) Side with Legion in ME2 and Quarians are destroyed and

3) Get them to co-operate and they work together to help destroy the reapers, survive and work together to rebuild Tali's home word.

3rd is not possible, without playing on the pc and using the ending mod, which I do now.  :)

Hahahaha! No.

I don't even see how that's possible, as there is NO great SP portion in that game.

ME3's SP is awesome, you shut your mouth.

Do the same for the SP, and you can keep your romance and sweat threads, thank you very much.

Don't act as if you don't have weird fetishes... Panda told me. =P

SP Master race united! Let's kick out these lame ass MP Scrubs! Let's show bioware that MP is a waste of resources that would be better used in new romance options and making lots of alien sex!

(Yes, you MP guys sound this stupid )

I played the game on Xbox 360, and successfully had the Geth and Quarians work together. You just had to choose the third option in the Tali/Legion argument in that one scene. If you did that and they both survived, you had the option of having them work together in 3. No PC or mod required, and it works on PS3 and 360.

Edit: But for real fun, bring Legion and Tali with you when you do Tali's loyalty mission. The bests scenes in ME 2 were walking around the Quarian fleet with Legion in tow.

True master race is those who play SP on one TV/Monitor while playing MP on the other.

Think they are actually talking about with picking the Destroy ending. Everyone cries that when you fry the Reapers the toasters with Reaper code predictably get fried too, usually because they want a happy ending with zero compromises.

And yeah, getting the geth and quarians to cooperate is braindead easy as long as you import. I damn near always get that option despite having no intention of ever trying to ally with the machines. Kill the Heretics and don't get Tali exiled. Make sure Tali and Legion survive the SM. Simple.

I did this too.  Loved taking Legion on Tali's loyalty mission and taking her on his. :)  But in the end it didn't matter my Geth and Edi were were destroyed when I destroyed the Reapers no matter what I've done in ME2 or 3.     Since I worked very hard from the first game to the last to destroy the reapers, that's what I do.  I did have one suicidal Shepard who picked synthesis but I don't care of the idea that Shepard changes everyones DNA.

I'll stick with the pc mod version which actually does give me the endings I had expected. Shepard lives or dies.  Some of the team lives or dies depending on what I did in previous games and I can have occasional games where Tali, Geth and Edi survive. :D

Back on topic.

I'm not a fan of MP

Unless they set it up so I can play the MP the same way I play TOR, by myself, I won't play it, and I really do not want it to effect any part of the SP,   I played NWN for years before finding out there was some kind of MP options.

Never knowing it's there works for me.

I know, but that way requires passing more persuasion checks. You can get Tali exiled and still work things out as well. I just elucidated the EZest way to get the ceasefire. Kill the Heretics and keep Tali from being exiled, and all you have to do is make sure to complete all 4 missions for Rannoch and have 4 bars of reputation. Plus it's the morally and pragmatically superior way to do things. Even the toaster says so, not that I care about its opinion.

QMR would kill the heretics anyway.

Damn rite son. Rebellious toasters are bad enough. Cthulhu cultist toasters can burn.

Why does an RPG need multiplayer?

Why does a MP need an RPG? It's a moot discussion - it's there so you can join up and play with us.

MP needs to take center stage IMO.  Playing as different classes in an open world a la Elder Scrolls, was the one hope I had for SP, but that hope was essentially shot to $#!+ at E3.

Granted, the franchise is a SP RPG at heart, but ME3MP has changed the expectations for a lot players, including myself.

Maximal MP integration into SP is where its at.  Make multiplayer missions available from the SP galaxy map and allow MP players to sit in special lobbies that are tied to single player missions.  That would be novel, and probably very fun.

I don't get What You Meant with the first part. MEA likely has a (kind of) open world system and classes.

I don't want to have to play with others to unlock anything related to the Singleplayer Content or in any Relation, really. That's all there is to be said on the Matter. If I would, I would by an MMO.

I'm sure you won't have to.  But there may be a penalty for not doing so (e.g. ME3 50% war assets).
