For me the games I played today with friends and some I didn't know previously really kick some butt on having a good fun time. We were doing perilous FC faction runs since they provide the most challenge and XP. It was non-stop laugh fest for hours. We would kid about those us who fall in game singing them songs while tea-bagging, trying not to kill the boss when they lock on you until all the minions are down, talking about the forum, talking about sports and real life.
Yesterday even a bug made another group I played with laugh our butts off, of the four player two can hears all others and the other two could not hear each other but hear first two. So conversations became hilarious to three and totally mystifying to one...it was great
IF EA or anyone can figure out how to pump some beers through the net and charge us they would have made a ton. These are people I met pugging and now I have a great time on DAIMP with them!
This is why I play DAIMP... ![]()

There's something addicting about promoting, knowing that one day you will be a god if you play long enough. Co-op only is great too; I enjoy games like Battlefield, but some days every game you join has 5 or 6 maxed out clan no-lifers that suck the fun out of everything. In DAMP, as long as the no lifers aren't total douchebags they're a benefit.

I only started playing damp because of a friend I met through the BSN and I still play with her almost every single day. Semi-pugging together and duoing has been a ton of fun
Also met a lot of players I enjoy mic chatting with even if I'm not in their game.
On top of that I love the short games since I have kids and trouble focusing for long periods of time. Playing damp is a great way to relax after a loooooooong day of whiny children ![]()

For fun, why else? If the gameplay wasn't enjoyable, then nobody in their right mind would give two ***** about DAMP.

Well, friends are awesome and they make all the difference. I enjoy the game and all, but I only play as much as I do because of the people who play with me, and I've got to be where I am on the Leaderboards now only because of them.

I lost a bet with the devil and he traded my soul to bioware. If I don't rip out 30 hearts with Dragon Rage on my Reaver at least every other day I'm afraid i'll be sodomized by a druffalo. So the situation is out of my hands ![]()

I remember in my first coupla days I saw a toon running around with a bow that shot 3 arrows.
I REALLY wanted that bow.
I also remember doing the chainsaw move when I got it

Its fast becoming a stop gap between other games, the Castle map added a bit of excitement and a few of the balance updates were fun too but they seem to have come to a stop (I didn't class the potion updates as a significant update), even the last Twitch Stream was just watching 2 people (who seemed rather uninterested) playing a match, it did not inspire me to plug in and play..
Boredom is setting in again, might even venture over to ESO or Witcher 3 for a bit, will be back for weekend events or when (if) new DLC is coming but I am not holding my breath.
As much as I still enjoy playing a few matches a day, for me its sadly run out of steam.. ![]()

I was home sick from work and remembered that there was multiplayer. I was instantly hooked. It filled the co-op dungeon crawler gap that was left when I quit WoW cold turkey. Super fun, short matches, and just grindy enough to keep me addicted.
My brother recently started playing with me and ran some private matches with my in-game friends. He said something to the effect of, "Where are you finding all these people on the internet who aren't terrible jerks? I've never played a game online where people didn't shame me or try to talk down to me for being new. Everybody is helping me out and giving me useful advice."
I think the best part in DAIMP is the people that play are not the usual FPS 13 year olds that troll and talk smack and call everyone the N word while constantly talking about 'raping' eachother.

It's moderately fun and the feeling of becoming OP through time has always been appealing to me in games.
Just wish I had a bit more time to dedicate to it. But I suppose that's life.
