Salarians, Krogan, Elcor, Hanar and Volus can come too. I am indifferent towards the rest.

All Council space races should be there. That includes the Elcor, Hanar, and Volus who need to stop being treated as joke races by the writers but as serious and important parts of MW society. Less "Elcor Hamlet", "Blasto the Hanar Spectre", and "Biotic God" and more depth please.

Man's first priority is to save their own skin. Second, Andromeda is about our struggles with the Helius Cluster races. There will be plenty of new aliens to satisfy everyone.

I'm not talking sense or even the plausibility of it. I'm sure what I want isn't likely to happen, but I would prefer a real reboot (since we are going down that road). I am not attached to most of the races in the game so removing them isn't a huge deal for me. Asari are just so mary-sue god I would prefer Turians or Krogan over Asari. Literally anything. I can't stand their attitude.
It's not a reboot.
Going to andromeda isn't even feasible nor makes any sense either. That doesn't mean we still aren't doing it. This post was about what I wanted. I don't like Asari. For a species that lives so damn long they are incredibly short sighted and naive. Don't get me wrong humans can be quite mary-sueish, but Asari take that to level 10. I would prefer we spend more time on less annoying and ill written characters.
We don't know yet it isn't feasible or make sense. While I might not have many hopes that the explanation will satisfy me, we don't know almost nothing in how we reach Andromeda.

I can't imagine a Mass Effect game without Krogans, Turians, Salarians and foremost Asari in it. I wouldn't miss the rest too much.

That sentiment means the characters got under your skin. Kudos to the writers.
However, a Mass Effect game is not its characters. To me its the stories, the bonding, the romance, the audio dialogue, the tech, the struggles and the ever kick azz combats. This viewpoint makes the transition to Andromeda a breeze.

It would be great to have all the races back, Turian, Asari, Guarian, Krogan, Drell, Salarian etc. I liked Legion and Thane, so definitely wouldn't mind having characters similar to them in the game. Even though they weren't a large part of ME3. Thane's spirituality and desire to be in his son's life kinda tugs at the heart strings and Legion's struggle with forgive me for saying it but "issues of humanity", such as rights/wrongs and fear. I'd like to see how evolved the Geth are and their relationship with the Quarians was developed. I think having more aliens races to interact and develop friendships with would be excellent, all in all. For male protagonist a human female romancable character that's has a little of Jack's hardcore attitude and Marinda's intellect. I'm biased but no love interest can top Liara T'soni, unless it actually is Liara!!

What was good about Thane's spirituality was how he used it to not feel guilty about all of his murders. It ties in nicely with Mordin, who also went on a spiritual journey to sooth his conscience.

Other than humans, I would certainly expect the asari, turians, salarians, and krogan to show up in Andromeda. The other races are welcome in my opinion, but we'll see if they make it in.

Mass Effect is not its characters, but I would argue that the many unique species and cultures are an important aspect of Mass Effect. I think the different species archetypes constitute part of the essence of Mass Effect. Other than that it's the lore, history, technology, music and sound (+ more) that defines Mass Effect, and hence why it's important to preserve these elements.
I don't expect all the species to be included in Andromeda, but it would make sense that an ARK project would include representatives of every known species in the Milky Way Galaxy. This would give every race a fair chance to re-establish their civilization and continue their way of life. However, given the political climate in the MWG it's likely that several species might be excluded from the project, among them the Batarians.

For home galaxy nostalgia, Bio will include a Krogan and an Asari. If generous, a Turian and a Salarian.... imo
But I'm looking forward to the indigenous cluster species in this HUB (concept art)

That hub might be part of the Ark ship or whatever is the main ship the MW species are in.
I'm not sure we'll definitely see that many new sentien species in Andromeda. The cluster might be inhabitated by few sentient species, and in the following games if they open up to the whole/other parts of the galaxy they'd show more new species.
