The major ones have to be in it: Asari, Turian, Salarian, & Krogan. However, I would be deeply disappointed if the other races were cut out, particularly the Quarians. It'd make sense for the Citadel Species to have the Quarians involved on the creation of the Ark, given their extensive experience of housing an entire population in Space. Or maybe that's just my hope.

 

It is my personal opinion that some of the other 'background' races such as the Elcor, Volus, Hanar, Vorcha etc could be left out without much effect on the franchise. I can't recall any characters from these races that played a pivotal role in any of the games. 

 

Oh, and new races too. Whilst one will probably be an antagonistic force, I'm hoping the other will be less hostile.

I think it's entirely possible that we'll have most of the races we all know and love, IF it's true that this ship leaves before the end of ME3. Personally, I want an unmasked Quarian squaddie. Because by the time we reach Andromeda said Quarian would have adjusted to the ship's environment. On mission, masked. On ship, unmasked.

Most likely the ARK contains all Races involved in the Earth offensive -most likely as the bargaining chip to get them throw there support into such a stupid offensive

 

Or using ME3 MPLAY logic where regardless of Shepard's Choices the Galaxy unites/rebels

Those Vorcha were horrible sounding mooks for the Blood Pack. You see 3 drell in the game in which they were introduced, one of which was only in a DLC. Were any more standing around the Citadel or other hub? I didn't see them. The Hanar only need the Drell to kill things. In Andromeda, all Hanar will be Blasto, so Drell are not needed.

We obviously can't have all the races present as every old race has to come from our ship. I'm sure we will have Salarians as they are the resident tech race. Sending a bunch of Krogans would also make sense.

 

1. They have several hearts and redundant nervous systems so they can survive extreme conditions with minimal life support.

2. They are by far the most physically strong of the council races.

3. A Krogan exodus to the Andromeda galaxy would help solve the population problem in the Milky Way.

 

They can work on colonizing a foreign and hostile galaxy.

 

I would really like to have some Drell on board. Not many of them around, but they are awesome.

There could also be story that involves other Milky Way races (less popular/'necessary' ones) in DLC content. For example, Vorcha aren't exactly among the 'top Mass Effect races', but for example if the main game has, I dunno, part(s) of the ark ship splinter off, one part could be the one that houses Vorcha. Just a top of the head example. Not everything needs to be in the main game, not if it means messing up the development schedule.

1. I would like to see some species like Species 8472 from Star Trek Voyager (totally mysterious alien race )

2. Some very spiritual, deep minded, peaceful and calm race whose essence of the life is in spirituality and religion (maybe something like Bajorans from Star Trek : Deep Space 9)

3. Some race who lives in water , like Aquatics from Star  Trek : Enterprise

4. Some race whose life is based on some totally unknown chemical element and in whose environment humans can not survive without special suits and masks.

5 Some pre space flight civilisation that still is not so technologically advanced.

6. Some race with developed telepatic abilities.

7. Some race who claims that visited Milky Way galaxy and Earth long time ago.

8. Maybe some humans who had been captured by some aliens and taken to other galaxy and who were in meanwhile bulit a human civilisation there and they do not even know that their ancestors are from Earth or maybe they think those are just a fairy tales and myths.

I believe the Quarians should be there, they have lived their entire lives in ships for over 300 years so they would be used to the environment that will be established in the arkship. The council races should obviously be there so that includes the Salarians, Turians, Asari, and Humans. Aside from that I don't mind whether they are or aren't in Andromeda. I think the Volus will be there in small numbers because of their client relationship with the Turians. Since the Drell are kind of the servant race to the Hanar, they either both make it or don't make it but I believe they will both be there. I doubt the Vorcha and Elcor will make it to Andromeda, I'm guessing the Elcor would have problems with traveling in a ship for an extended period of time due to the high gravity they are used to on Dekuuna. And the Vorcha are too unpredictable IMO (plus, I think Gavorn's son made it on the arkship). Maybe they include a group of 10 Raloi to go to Andromeda, I think that would be interesting, seeing a race trying to prove themselves worthy of having alliances with the other races.

Full Melee.

Not "I'm going to stab you with my sword (Shadow) or shield (Palladian)", but "welcome to my forearm" Krogan style, or even the "people's elbow" like a Marauder.

Just someone who does full melee and doesn't use a weapon to melee. Melee amps on the individual weapons and/or armor are fine, just that the characters animation has him or her using its body as a weapon.

Kroguard full melee is a blast, Asari/Geth etc full melee, while also just as, if not more effective, not as much fun. At least for me.

I'd like quarians there but think they will need a good story reason why any quarians aren't with migrant fleet.
Drell I'm More 50/50 about.
