Do we know if more announcement/trailers will be shown for the game? I mean, it's been an open secret that BioWare has been working on a ME game for ages now anyway.

If they are then they're keeping quiet about it. I wouldn't mind a gameplay demo or something though, or even pre-alpha stuff.

Sadly,  the mountain of idiotic threads in the Dragon Age: Inquisition forums all but guarantees we won't see any pre-alpha footage.  Thanks guys who whined about being "deceived".  This is why we can't have nice things.

They did do a couple interviews later after the E3 showcases.

I'm in the process of making a couple videos on my channel that will go over the information gained in these interviews.

I think Bioware is better than that. Although we didn't have any similar videos with neither ME2 nor ME3, so I wouldn't be surprise if they don't do that kind of gameplay video with MEA. That said, we did see small glimpses of gameplay in Comic con.

BioWare said they were going to San Diego Comic Con so maybe they tell us more there? Although they said they will share more details at the end of the year so this is way too early.

Better than that?!  A refusal to show pre-alpha footage from any of their games going forward would be a perfectly rational reaction given the response to the pre-alpha footage shown for Dragon Age Inquisition.

Why show tentative stuff if, when some of it doesn't make it into the the final game, you're accused of "deceiving" fans in order to trick them into buying your game.  What's in it for Bioware?  The only people who will care about this pre-alpha footage are people who would have bought the game anyway.  When those same people then criticize you for dropping some of that stuff from the final game, why even bother?

Oh dear, we have a problem.

I read with interest, Pete Hines (Bethesda's VP Marketing) talking about when you announce a game:

"I jokingly have what I refer to as the rule of one E3, which isn’t really a joke. It has proven time and again to be a good rule. Any game should be at one and only one E3. More than that and you’re trying to talk about the game for too long. You’re trying to keep people’s attention for too long. It’s more time than you can maintain momentum, more time than you can fill with content. You’ll be sorry."

I think Pete is spot on.

Mass Effect was teased at E3 2014:

We how have the Red Dead Redemption title reveal trailer at E3 2015 :

We still have E3 2016 to look forward to for some gameplay maybe.

But we're the best part of 18 months out from release, assuming it doesn't slip to 2017 !

One section of the fanbase will be screaming for 'moar info'

whilst another section will be arguing about how much it sucks and how red, blue and green endings killed the Milky Way.

After the infamous Crestwood demo leaks for DAI, don't expect to see more in a hurry.

Bioware tweeted:

Back to work for us! See you again at the end of the year. #MEAndromeda

So I assume we'll see more reveals towards the end of the year.

N7 day seems possible.

Expectations from any games show this year should be shelved.
