Well, that better hair options thread has officially eclipsed the size of this one. Maybe I should have thought of a more attention grabbing title.
I do think it's good that this is being well discussed so far in advance before release, though.

You should've asked for everyone's thoughts.
All squadmates in armor while in the field, long and loose hair options for both genders, casual wear: anything other than underwear and skintight leotards.
That'd be my preference.

all the cool kids are doing it.

In terms of hair, this can easily be accomplished for squad members, since they're obviously going to have a fixed appearance. The only problem is that BioWare only employs one person whose sole job is to design and animate hair, but they move his desk countless times, and forget to pay him.

You should've asked for everyone's thoughts.
Ironically enough, I did.
Your thoughts on the aesthetics of the coming installment?

Well i may have been partially responsible for that as I was playing the new PGA game yesterday on my XB1 and I noticed it had hair physics in it so commented on it and knowing that it's using the same engine as DAI/MEA commented on that in there as it shows proof that theengine can do it if enough thought is put in. The hair options are limited (just like in DAI) in that game and obviously can be improved upon I think but it shows it can be done which was the main point of my post
For armor I would love pleasing to look at armor maybe be able to change the color of full armor sets we buy I would really like that. I also would really like no or at least not so rampant boob plate they make the armor just look silly to me so I try to find something toned down with it or without it if possible.
For hair, for the love of all that is right and pure in the world I want to be able to have Morrigan's hairstyle damnit. It's so pretty and has to be my favorite bun style I'll seen in so far. Nicer looking bun options would be great maybe with a little bang in them to so the face doesn't feel so empty, idk why but nothing being on the forehead always looks slightly off to me.
For casual wear I would love to be able to change colors on that like you could on armor and a less silly looking dress would be nice, I loved the one you got in ME2 but I really didn't like the one in ME3 and if my character could sit in the dress without their legs spread as far as they could go that would be great. I'd also like some causal wear that looks comfortable most of the causal wear imo didn't aside from one that Male Shepard's got.
For animations I just ask that if you go through the trouble to give males and females different animations put that work into the cut-scenes too cause it's really jarring to suddenly go from one animation to the other for cut-scenes then back to what you had for gameplay, also makes the non default animation feel a bit pointless to me.
You know what I don't care about?
This exact shit.
You know what I want from Mass Effect Andromeda? A good story and a viable MP option. Inquisition's MP was terrible, the story was better than ME3 and that is all it has going for it - because it wasn't amazing, it was just better than ME3.
I haven't played past the beginning...Is it really that bad?
...I mostly liked the CC. My Nord is pretty.
The CC is great, one of the better in MMO's, if not the best. The game on the other hand is quite meh, but i am biased since it is The Elder Scrolls. Anyone other than Bethesda Game studios touching that franchise is just a huge no no for me. I am glad others enjoy it though ![]()

Well I know i do as I want things to look and feel as good as possible yes we need a good story but to be convincing it needs to look good as well.
This new generation of gamers is too spoiled.
This new generation of gamers is too spoiled.
That could be said about pretty much everything in the Western Society. Oil made us rich, and we grew fat. We are a 100 years away from a Wall-E situation ![]()

Good, so we won't end up like you.

That is so incredibly irrelevant that it hurts.
Good, so we won't end up like you.
That's a shame. I'm well loved by many.

And it's just going to get worse. So many people asking for and discussing the things you don't care about, more and more and more as release approaches. It's fortunate that they'll have you there to scold them into more the more pressing issues.
I hope for a better MP than Inquistion, too. Preferably one where actually receiving the experience points after a success is a reliable occurrence.

I hope you can hold on to that, the cynical old Fart that you present yourself as. ![]()
I always wear the best looking armor. I can't look at an ugly character. Stats be damned.
I tend to do the same, to a point. I think it happened in DA2 a few times that I found some armor with better stats than the current armor and I ignored it just because I liked looking at the armor I had on at the time more.
I'd prefer ME 1 aesthetic over the sequels, but I know that I am in the minority, and won't be getting that with the next one.

Ah, but you see, I'm capable of not responding to everything that I don't like. A forum is a beautiful thing.

I'm not really bothered.
The more discussion about this, the better as far as I'm concerned. That post was me trying to bump this thread more than anything.

Clearly, I should have done research before I made my purchase...or at least, read the whole box.
I may have just assumed that Bethesda was the one at the controls.
Though I've never been particularly good at keeping careful track of who specifically is doing what. I've read that Bethesda Game Studios is a slightly different thing from Bethesda Softworks (I think it was Softworks, anyway) but I haven't the faintest notion whether that's true or what that really means.

That is excellent news. I was beginning to worry whether or not that was the case, after watching you so heavily burdened with the responsibility of expressing disgust with the petty trivialities of this section's hopes and speculation. It looks mildly exhausting, like holding a sign up for a prolonged period of time.

You seem more interested in making me out to be some angry little troll rather than acknowledging any of the excessive things - on either side.

Really? I liked it too, but not really better than the sequels. Was it because everyone was wearing actual armor, as opposed to things like catsuits and lab coats?
