Indeed.

Calling DAI an MMO is a disservice to MMOs, which at least have a social aspect and not only shitty fetch quests and horrible pacing.

Yes, avoiding the shitty fetch quests and horrible pacing is why I play games like DAI.

I'm not sure it is necessary to be so rude about MMOs, I know many people like them.

It seems like it. Remember the game is "going to Andromeda". So there will not be cities/hubs to visit. Only gigantic empty maps to collects metal and plants to make your new armor. Which you can craft into armor or weapons in your flag ship. You also get to shoot occasional respawning 3+ monsters/aliens.

Exactly like DAI.

There will be cities and hubs, probably, since there will be alien races who already live in Andromeda. It'd be pretty crap if you're literally the only intelligent life in the galaxy

I like the open world aspect of DAI. I'm giving that game a pass because this is the first time they've used the FB engine and they've only just started accessing the capabilities of it. I figure that now they have some experience, they can build upon what they know.

If they turn this game into an MMO which they won't, but if they do..  At this time -- I probably won't purchase the game.

I am dedicated to SWTOR (raid 2 days in swtor) and WoW (raid 3 days in WoW), on top of work, life, and pc/console games I have.. I wouldn't have time for an ME:MMO, nor would I be interested.
