This isn't a tech issue per se, so mods please move or lock if you find it inappropriate.
Basically I'm still waiting for delivery of my PC copy of ME2, and am currently running a pretty borderline rig in terms of system reqs (T8100 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo, 3GB RAM, Geforce 8400M GS @ 256MB). It can run ME1 with everything on Medium at 1024x768 no problem.
I've got Vista 64 on it right now and am trying to decide whether an upgrade to Win 7 will help or hurt my ME2 performance in any way? Obviously there are other reasons to upgrade, but just wanted to see if there were any reasons not to try. Thanks in advance.
Better on Win7 or Vista 64?

Windows 7 is essentially what Vista should have been so many drivers issues that plagued Vista are all but gone with 7. I ran several different cards from both ATI and Nvidia using different driver versions and 7 has been very stable. Performance-wise I saw very little difference.

I run it on win7 64 bit and i run it completely maxed out... 16xaniso everything and it runs flawlessly.. not a single stutter... runs great on win7 64
