People find turians attractive but scoff at the notion of a Krogan romance. Lol ok.
Agreed.
So romancing a giant lizard/bird is okay by many, but a turtle/frog isn't? Seems a bit silly.

As long as it's well written, i'm okay with it.
Agreed.

Ide romance a Geth if they gave us the option, im pretty sure they can... modify their frames.
So in Inquisition you could "Ride the Bull."
Now in ME:Andromeda you can "Hop the Frog."
Yeah...
We have a frog already in Thane. But why would anyone want to romance Thane is beyond me. Never got the appeal.
A krogan, in the other hand, I wouldn't mind.
Also, I romanced Garrus and that's my favorite game romance ever. But that's because I saw past his giant velociraptor/bird exterior and connected with his pixelated heart. I only realized I wanted to romance him in the second game.
I know this is invalidating what I said about Thane and don't really care.
I loved that sweet romantic krogan from the side quest. I wouldn't mind a krogan romance.
The worst thing about all this is that I'm serious.
That just sounds unsafe, even under optimal circumstances.
Hey, what's wrong with lovin' me some Krogan? I would totally romance Wrex (or that Blood Pack leader on Omega
...uh, sorry Garrus ^^; ). That bad-ass attitude, those scars... *swoon* If they made a romance-able Krogan in ME:A, I'd be ALL over that.
...of course, that could just mean your daughter's as crazy as I am lol.
That just sounds unsafe, even under optimal circumstances.
No more dangerous than romancing Jack, maybe even less so XD
This is going to happen, I've figured it all out. The Western motif is clearly indicating Space Cowboys, who's a Space Cowboy? Grunt's a Space Cowboy, ergo Grunt is a squadmate, and a Love Interest, obviously for either gender!
"It makes sense when you think about it."
Well I've always wanted to get fiste- I mean, romanced by a krogan.

Kids shouldn't even be playing.. or at least deciding... what goes into Mass Effect.
And furries shouldn't either. If anything, I'd like Mass Effect become more mainstream.. not more fringe.
What about cannibal romances? They're always trying to give me a hug, but I can never reciprocate.
They look so fluffy too.
I hug them all the time with my KroGuard, but they tend to bleed and die.
Posting without comment.
My...MY EYES! THEY BURN!

Because he's sexy and mysterious and sexy. Mind you, I want to romance Raz in Elder Scrolls Online and he's a cat, so...yeah...you probably shouldn't listen to me.

Have you seen the MP forums? We have a combined mental age of about 3. And that's pushing it.
And I am not a furry. I am a this:

Oh, in that case, I'm cool with this.
Still waiting for my Volus romance. I wanna know how they look under their sexy suits.

Imagine if a pig and a pug had a child after a night of heavy drinking in an ammonia-based atmosphere.

oh Cersei, your vengeance will be big.

No one but the ME writers should decide what goes into Mass Effect, games are not services where the consumer steer the direction that the service should have, games are artistic endeavors and whatever the creative team decides to present to their audience must be their prerogative, not being laid at the will of the fans. You have the option once the game is commercially available to buy it, to play it or not. It is tiring the blackmail attempts that you see in BSN forums trying to box the BioWare artists to their whims. None of what made ME memorable could have been done without the people who made it taking the risks to steer away from the mainstream shooters that were released about that time.

True. It can definitely ruin a game when the devs try to give people everything they want (haters especially). If the fans had given up on letting Bioware know what we'd like to see in their games though, we'd never have a romance-able Garrus, right?
Here you go.

I understand that this raises all sorts of questions about my daughter's psychological health, and is generally scaring the crap out of me. I've tried multiple times to persuade her that she doesn't want Wrex to be her boyfriend what with him being a freakin' krogan and all, but she's having none of it; I have a lil' Wrex fangirl on my hands.
Get her a bullfrog for her birthday.
You know it will make her happpy. In more ways than one.

Here you go.
That's... surprisingly disturbing.
in the name of the Maker...
What have you done to Grunt?!?
/Jumps out of nearest airlock
I always thought Wrex must be so angry whenever I put him in that pink Phoenix armor in ME1, but then it occurred to me that associating pink and little girls is totally just a human thing (well, really a Western human thing). For all we know, pink is manly to krogan and he feels like a complete badass in that armor.

[Mock horror] Oh no, not the furries! *Anything* but the furries!
On a serious note, anybody on this forum who has ever asked for a romance with anything that wasn't standard hot human chick/dude routinely gets accused of weird fetishism or bestiality.
At this point we've had romances with a bird/lizard man, a dying snakeman, a lady with blue tentacle hair, a lady with chicken feet in a body suit, and TWO horned dudes with the blood of dragons or demons or somesuch.
If all of that was not enough to make you drop Bioware, it's just silly to get annoyed about a krogan.
But Grunt is our lil' tank bred baby!
Actually, he has really pretty eyes here...
