Good for backwards cap. cuz I hate buying new 360's..I think I am on my 8th one..which I just bought 2 months ago..The one thing I am very concerned about is the games we have Downloaded. I have 89 games downloaded onto a 2 TB drive...but you know you have to connect to Xbox Live in order to play them ..If you don't, say the LAN cord /wireless isn't plugged in and you try to play your downloaded games..they won't launch at all...you will just get an error messege. I think they are pulling 360 Online support within the next year..So.what happens to my games?
I'd be a bit shocked if they pull the plug on the 360 anytime soon, but with the BC it could possibly happen. Once games are added to the list, they just show up for you to download onto the Xbox One. Example: I had a free code for Alien Hominid HD that I redeemed a while back on my 360 and it is now available to download to the Xbox One since it is on the list. Doesn't mean I have to download it (which I won't since I won't play it soon), but it will always be there if I decide I want to now.
