So I have used Aristaea's helpful guide http://social.biowar...34/blog/212463/ to change my Shepard's prologue outfit in ME3. I am changing the fourth casual suit to Shepard's leather jacket by editing appearance 4 and 5 with the Coalesced Utility.

It works great but with just one significant problem. After the Reapers attack the defense committee and Shepard gets blown back I get odd texturing like the game will try to use the default "damaged" textures with the leather jacket mesh. As soon as Anderson and Shepard jump down and the cut scene ends the leather jacket show up normally and everything is fine.

Would anyone have suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong? I have watched videos on YouTube of people who have changed the prologue outfit and their's works seamlessly with the new suit showing perfectly during the post attack cut scene.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Thanks,

EBG

when you are mesh modding there are meshes that use LODs. When replacing the mesh for that particular outfit there are 3LODs that you need to replace. Usually we only replace the first one because most outfits only use one LOD, so when you are replacing the mesh, look at the top bar and you will see LOD, replace the mesh with each LOD and that will let your outfit be seen at all distances. here is a screenshot of mine.  you need to select each one and then replacew the mesh just like normal for each LOD. Hope this helps P.S. LOD is for distance sorry, forgot to explain that. They use LOD for armors and stuff that may bee seen far away, they have less detail in them.
