My team has a couple of times, although the conditions were far from normal. Last time it happened, was during a wave 11 of one of my Husk Modes. That wave consists of lots of Praetorians, Banshees, and Brutes. Every single member of our "Husk-squad" got eaten by one of them crabs.

 

This prompts me to ask the question: Has your entire team every been sync-killed? And I mean, during a normal game with the standard wave compositions. For instance, it would be really funny if a single Banshee managed to hug the entire team. She would have to sign up for that "Free Hugs" bullcrap that they do at the Dam here in Amsterdam.

 

I wonder what delightful stories you guys might have to share. Maybe, this happened during an all-Warlord game. I don't know. Please share!

 

If this happens, it is definitely one of those facepalm moments.

Whole team? Not that I can think of. I did have one of my buddies get sync killed 8 of the 11 waves by himself playing the Novaguard...

All Warlord game (of course). Dagger Hazard. Three dudes get synch'd by Banshees, leaving just me. I'm running around in the f*cking sandstorm not able to see sh*t due to Rage. I hear a Banshee and I think, "I bet I can make it to this ramp where I can hammer her safely."

 

Nope. She teleports in front of me about one step from the ramp and synchs me.

 

Now I'm not sure it was the same Banshee that killed everyone, but it was a team wipe due to Banshee(s) synch kills.

It's definitely happened to me a few times. When I used to pug platinum, if I got synched, the pugs would almost always get synched sometime during that same wave unless there was a puggernaut.

I've seen a single banshee sync three people in a row, fourth made it though. Not necessarily "normal" conditions as the lag was buffing her magnet-hands to 360° and roughly the same range as the Collector Sniper Rifle. =/

Nope, never, but I've seen 3 syncs once or twice.

Brute and Banshee hugging if memory serves. I'm not sure I could do that on purpose though.

I don't specifically remember, but my honest guess is that it has a decent chance of having happened once or twice.

 

I'm sure there have been plenty of times that three of the four people downed were synched, but I can't remember if it was ever all four.

Too many times. Every time I got syncd while pugging I plugged in my mic quickly to give advice on staying alive lol. They never listened tho

I had a praetorian get three sync kills in one wave (Condor..try to act surprised) which qualifies it as a serial killer according to the FBI

 

I was last it came for me and survived the first rocket (but not the second)

Yes. I know for a fact MLG Pro Banshee is one hell of a player. My team has run into her quite a few times and she won every match.

A very long time ago, typically Banshees or Phantoms could just slip right into the confusion and gank everyone. However it has been a long time since ive seen all 4 people sync killed resulting in failure...come close however

Back in the day, yes, when I used to pug exclusively, and Banshees had their vacuum grip.

Without us? Who's us? And you must have some hilarious stories from your interesting Pug games. Why don't you share one to entertain us? Threads like this one, are meant to get people to think back those times when all things went to ****, and it helps us remind ourselves where we come from. I personally have fond memories of those times when everyone in the lobby was a scrub. Those games were far more interesting and entertaining than the regular games that we can all do on auto-pilot these days. That's why the damn forum is so repetative and dull.

Da ****? I have some experience with warnings, too. Sucks when people warn you for sharing an opinion, or bumping an old thread. How many have you got so far?
