Hello everyone. I had a couple of question and I did not where to ask them and I figured I better start a thread and ask my questions here. So here we go.

In about a month I am going to buy a PS4. And As you can imagine, DAI is certainly on my buying list. But I have two question.

1- How can I import the save and world state I created in keep to my PS4 game?

2- Is buying DAI for PS4 is a good idea or getting the hang of playing it on console will be a paint in the neck?

So now that I have said that I will be getting a PS4, here is my second question. I have limited budget for buying PS4 games. Consider buying one or two more games at most besides DAI. So I want to buy a game that I can get both high gameplay time and high ....entertainment and fun at the same time.I would like to get your opinions on them and choose two of them that has both of the above qualities. Long gameplay and fun. Here they are.

The order 1886

GTA V

Unhcarted hd collection

The Witcher 3

Batman Arkham Knight

MKX

Destiny

CoDAW

BFHardline

Edit: Watch Dogs

Although I know very well that I will have to save money to buy Mass Effect Andromeda, Fallout 4 and Hitman and Uncharted 4.

Also, I`d welcome any suggestion.

P.S The sports games that I wanted to buy but with the limited budget I wont were FIFA 15, NBA 2K15 and WWE 2K15.

Thank you for your insights.

BTW, keep in midn I am talking about buying PHYSICAL disc version of the games not digital.

If you're connected to the internet, it should prompt you to login to whatever account you use in the Keep when you start up a new game I think.  Been awhile.

So...just being connected to my home`s Wi-Fi and starting up the game is enough and after that the prompt will pup up? Ihave to connect to the internet, my house`s Wi-Fi via the console itself then. and then booth the game and connect to Origin via in game options or just wait for the promt to appear. sounds simple.

You can definitely access your Keep world states through the PS4, just make sure you follow the steps to link your PS 4 account. As long as you use a consistent e-mail address, I believe it will practically do everything for you.

I don't believe you'll have too much difficulty adjusting to the PS 4 controller, but some people do. It's my favourite of the consoles for controllers, personally, and they tend to retain functionally a lot longer.

I don't know much about the exclusives, or anything, as I've only played a couple of games on it. I still mostly stick to previous-gen stuff. There just isn't a library of next-gen games that I really care about, yet.

I myself started gaming with consoles. then switched to PC. Now I am switching back to console again.

As for the games, thanks anyway. :

Out of those that you listed, definitely get Witcher 3. It's one of the best RPGs out there and will give you 100+ hours per playthrough if you do most of the stuff.

Order 1886 is like 5 hours long, so the "long gameplay" requiement is out.

Yeah, just make your own background story with the Keep.

You can waste a good hour on it.

Create a world state in Dragon Age Keep and make sure you click the "Import to DAI" button to make it ready on the website's end.

Once you set up your PSN user name to log in and connect to the Playstation Network on your home WiFi, start up Dragon Age: Inquisition. I don't remember what happens the very first time, but I imagine you'll be prompted to link your Origin/EA account, so log into that with the same credentials you used to log into the Dragon Age Keep website.

Then, when you start a new game, you'll be prompted to choose male or female, a race, and a class. I believe after you make those selections, you will then get a prompt asking if you'd like to import a custom world state from the Keep or to run the default world state. Choose to import a world state and it will state the one you had the Keep upload. You can only have one world state available to choose from at a time. Once you select it and confirm your character, the game's opening cutscene will start and you'll go to the Character Creator screen and all that jazz.

If you wish to upload a different world state for a new, different character, simply go back to the Keep, pick another world state, click "import to DAI", and that one will now be ready for your new character to select. Doing this will NOT affect your previous character and the world state you imported for them. You can even play offline the rest of the time after your initial character set-up. Once you import a custom world state, it's permanently in that playthrough for you.

Thanks for the tips and your opinions guys. I appreciate it. Now I have chosen the other game I will buy besides DAI. Witcher 3 and if my budget allows me GTA V. just two more quick questions.

1- in order to get GTA Online, I will have to buy it seperately or the game itself has it with itself?

2- How is the DAI DLC?

3- How does the DAI MP works? you make a squad of four players each controlled by a player or is it like the main campaign mode?

And one more question. Does star wars the old republic have a PS4 version?

Also still open to game suggestions/

1. You do not have to buy GTA Online separately. That mode is already included in the game. However, in order to play any multiplayer game on Playstation, you have to have a Playstation Plus account and that is around $40-$50 yearly subscription.

2. The single player DLC "Jaws of Hakkon" is pretty good in my opinion. I know some did not like it because it did not add much story content. I basically just adds a big map zone to explore with little quests in there, new weapons and gear to loot, that sort of thing. It costs around $15. The single player DLC "Black Emporium" is free and it literally just adds that shop from Dragon Age 2 to you game that you can go to and buy new schematics and weapons/armor. The multiplayer DLCs "Destruction" and "Dragonslayer" are both free and you need to download them in order to have the best chance at grouping up with people online. Those DLCs basically added a few alternate maps, new animal enemies to fight, and one map where you can summon a dragon to fight. DragonSlayer also added three new multiplayer characters you can play after you unlock them/

3. When you go to multiplayer, you will have three characters to choose from - a warrior, a mage, or a rogue. You will be able to "unlock" new characters to play by either crafting their armor from materials you gain by salvaging unwanted weapons/equipment, or sometimes the armor of a new character will come up in a store chest you buy. You gain new eapons and equipment by buying chests in the multiplayer store with either real money (called Platinum) or with in-game gold you earn as you complete matches. Once you pick a character, I recommend going to "Quick Match" and look for a match at the "Routine" difficulty. That's the starter difficulty level. It will put you in a lobby with other people playing characters. So, it will be you and three other people from around the world playing a dungeon you clear out - matches are roughly 15-20 minutes on average.

I don't know anything about The Old Republic, sorry.

Thanks for the answers. :)

Jut two more questions.

1- In order to play DAI MP, I will have to have PSPlus right?

2- The last PS console I played was the first one, PS1. I dont know how playing games in this one works. Do we have to install them in its hard drive or just put in the disc and like old times turn on the console and the game will boot up? Physical Disc version of course.

Sorry guys, it is me with my stupid questions again. I have one more.

See, by next week I`ll get my PS4 and have it updated to its latest update patch and buy DAI and tW3WH and GTA V and a game that comes with it as it will be bundle thingy, which in order of preference I`d like to have a PS4 bundle of 1- GTA v 2- Batman Arkham Knight and a couple of more that are available here but dont remember what they were.

So here is my question. As I will buy the physical version of the games, how do I register them exactly?

I don't know the specifics of the PS4. But I'm assuming you're meaning like registering DA:I to your Origin account? If previous consoles are of any indication it should be pretty straight forward. I imagine there will be a prompt on the main screen or at least a select-able icon to sign in/ register. And the game should have some information along with it in that respect. Probably a little slip on the inside case telling you what to do.

When you start the game and make a new character (once you've chosen the race) it will ask you if want to use a default worldstate or a custom one, )the custom option will only show up if you've exported a worldstate.)

Thanks.

When I create my PSN account then I will link it to my origin account, the ones I used to log in to keep and then the rest will be taken care of as you have said so far as the game will prompt me and ask if I want to use the custom or the default. Thanks.

But what about how registering games on PS4?

Aren't they registered when you install them from the disc or downloaded from the store?

Don't buy Destiny. I'd recommend GTAV, and also Elder Scolls Online. ESO has a TON of content, and you can get a lot of time out of GTA Online as well. I can't speak to any of the others, except that I find The Witcher and most of it's fan base distasteful.

Yup, they are. You don't need to register the game code to appear on your library, just need to install them.

As for the DLCs, you need to activate its code on the PS Store.

As for DA:I World State, I only entered the Dragon Age Keep Website and Imported it to Origin. Then, because my Playstation Account was already linked to my E-Mail (Same I use on Origin), I just needed to enter the game and download those Keep datas.
