So I've noticed a lot of people already criticizing the game before we have any kind of details of this game.  Aside from the leak, which the only thing to be factual as of yet is that it takes place in the Andromeda galaxy and that we will have a Krogan squadmate (possibly female).

But why do you already dislike the game?

It's silly to hate a game you have never played. Let alone hate it based on a very few details given about it.

All I know is that the Paladin Pistol and Havoc Strike are OP and need to be nerfed.

I can't bang a Pyjak. Or a Mako. Shifty looking space cow - TBD.

It doesn't have Shep.

It has multiplayer.

It might not have multiplayer.

It uses Frostbite.

It has too many romance options.

It doesn't have enough romance options.

I don't know if I can mod it.

It's not in the Milky Way.

It's in Andromeda.

It has Johnny Cash music in a very early pre-release teaser.

I can't import my saves.

I'd say i'm cautiously optimistic. Andromeda was best of bad bunch of options but i'll need to see story and choice mechanics to see whether to get excited about it.

I don't think we know enough yet to make a very informed judgement, but I suppose I could qualify as someone who likes it without knowing much about it, so arguably I'm making as many assumptions as the people frothing with outrage. I like the idea of a fresh start, without the baggage of the trilogy ending.

I love it with a fervent passion, as is my initial reaction to most things with "Bioware" on it.

I neither love nor hate this game because we have seen nothing of it beyond the announcement trailer.

I am excited about a new Mass Effect game, but the hype train is making many stops before holiday 2016 so I'm more excited about those at the moment.

Like pretty much every other entertainment medium that has ever been produced, I expect there will be things I love about it and things I hate about it. So long as the former outweigh the latter, I'll likely enjoy it immensely.

Can't really hate what I don't really know. I think viewing this as a separate entity is probably the best way to go or people will be bugged by the endings so much it will ruin their chance to enjoy this one.

3 )  And now this complete absurdity of going to Andromeda somehow, and for some reason there are no Reapers there, or ever went there, or whatever.  Andromeda is not our home, we have no connection there at all.  I don't care about Andromeda.  It's just an escape from the total failure of a story and ending that was ME trilogy.  It's just Bioware running away very quickly from a huge mess.

Why would the Reapers be in Andromeda?

Not a single scrap of info about it that has come out has been good for me. I have no reason to give it a chance at this current point other than it has "Mass Effect" in the title. I dont want to go to a new galaxy, i dont want to play as a human, i dont want to abandon all the things that came before...so until they give me some info that can outweigh these negatives with positives hate is the only answer

Why would the Reapers be in Andromeda?

Why wouldn't they?  They live in darkspace, between galaxies.  They are vast, and ridiculously ancient.  What are they going to for a billion years?  They could easily go to another galaxy, searching for organics to save from synthetics.

Don´t hate it but I am kind of disappointed. I would have wanted to see the game placed in the aftermath of ME3.

How can you love or hate something we have no knowledge about? We don't even have 1 second of gameplay footage. My only concern is the story might blow because ME2/3 story sucked.

The absurdity of ME3's endings can't escape, even millions of lights years away.

This may as well be a brand new IP, honestly. I wish they had decided to reboot the entire series rather than just pretend the endings of ME3 happened at all by escaping to a different Galaxy that someone isn't techno zombies or doesn't have Reaper tech coming out the wazoo, like both Destory and Control did.

Also... is the game human only? Because if they have all other races, there's a huge problem with that. Namely the Asari - the hundreds, if not thousands (if not tens or hundreds of thousands) of years required to travel to another Galaxy would have resulted in them breeding out all the other species. They live extra long, they actively promote breeding with other species and all their offspring are uniformly Asari. In a closed-society colony environment that would be needed to travel to a nearby Galaxy, they would quickly dominate all other species in a matter of generations.

Impossible. How do you account for a universe with robot hybrids, a God Enperor with a fleet of Reapers at his control or a completely normal galaxy in the aftermath of a huge war? The endings were too out-of-control different to ever allow an exploration of what happened afterwards. The concept of continuity fostered by the Save Import made such a request a pipe dream even in the most remote scenarios.

Simple, there is only one ending as canon. Destroy.
