RtO update is still pending.
Taken from one of the recently locked RtO threads. Alas, an update on when we'll get an update, is not an update.

Of course you're right. But don't you think a little information from their side would be appropriate? Not that I'm one to open a thousand threads about RtO, but at least some of them who complain do have a point. Me? I'll just shut up and wait now, it seems there is nothing else to do.
Edit: Thanks, thats better than nothing.

atleast gives the ppl hope they still work on its release and dont let the ppl down
but if they think there is nothing noticable and interesting to tell about the process then it shall be
cant force it, you just make them angry and you should never bite the hand that feeds you
as for me i just keep checking the forum here every day after work if theres news and if not well ill check the next day
not that i have nothing else to do and wait every single second for its release munching my fingernails
to be honest atm i enjoy darksiders
RTO will come sooner or later

Read the sticky by Victor Watcher. He's trying to get some database access so he can put up better updates. Web guy with database access! Someone make a backup!

I suspect (with zero evidence!) that Sony, MS, and such have limited amounts of people to do certifications and many games to certify. With RtO blowing it's December release for a re-cert and then it's January date... They probably had to move other products into RtO's spot in the queue... things like the ME2 DLC or even Awakenings. Again, totally guessing. RtO will show up eventually.
As for all the ****ing, I've friended a bunch of people because of the RtO threads.

its one thing to ask and talk your mind if your unhappy but its another thing to call ppl **** and they suck and such stuff
but your thought about the queue makes sense ... probably its really like that and bioware got enormous pressure right now .... poor dudes :/
edit: and i really really wonder who the heck takes all those kitten pics???? its like aliens flooding our planet with those pictures >.< XD

I think it is awesome so many fans are willing to defend our beloved BioWare. They really cannot do wrong, in my view. Anyone that says otherwise needs to get a grip and focus on stuff that really matters in life, as Teroes says above. Because clearly this DLC does not matter.
Now, I didn't say that Bioware could do no wrong. They can, probably already have and could do so again in the future. Neither was I defending them with my post. I was just pointing out the nonsense in thinking that RtO is being delayed intentionally for the sadistic lulz.
Trust me, I'm probably going to be downloading the DLC the same day that I hear of a reliable version of it being officially released. Ditto the expansion. I just don't see the point in getting so bent out of shape just because it's not here yet and some big smell in Bioware/EA/wherever has made the edict that the masses not know the intimate details. Personally in the mean time, I'm going to keep going to work, attending evening classes and rehearsals, see my good lady, play TF2, maybe read a book or even *gasp* catch up on a bit of sleep. Life goes on.

This whole RtO situation is just disrespectful. I bought Bioware points for the DLC and the DLC got never released. As customers we should at least get an update when the DLC will be released, or if not, why. Can't be that difficult...
IF (i dont hope so) RTO doesnt come out ... you can spend your points on other DLCs or even Awakening ...

I bought 3200 points. Yeah, I feel a little like an idiot. But if you read Victor Watcher's post (I linked it above) you'll see we are going to get some updates soon.

However, as you might be well aware, Bioware has stated they want to support DA with DLCs (and Expansions) over the next two years or so. There must be some serious problem with their system architecture to validate the long delay; as an IT professional I can tell you problems with software just don't go away if you don't fix them.. they become worse.
That being said I'm sure we'll all benefit from Bioware working this out before they toss this thing live. Because as much as we would love it, we'd cry right after things go to hell on our copy.
An update? Yes, that'd be appreciated anyhow.
