FYI, I am pulling together a status update. Hoping to have some amount of info for you today (not likely a release date, but a "where we stand")
We don't want to leave you in the dark til then, but we want to make sure what the update is accurate.
Thanks Victor.

I'm really interested to say what kind of news you have in store for us, even if honestly it's quite sad that after two weeks of near silence we're "not likely" to have a release date.

Joking aside I'm eager to get some sort of update. Even a vague timeframe is fine. Unspoken implication. You'll find me agreeable.

I look forward to reading the update.

Thanks for WHAT?.............I already lost interest in DAO..............now I'm playing ME2..............I'll wait till DAO Awakening comes out in March (Hopefully). I'm sure RTO can't be that exciting to hold my breath waiting.

Come to think of it, these forums are quite dead. I think at first the whole "release it or you'll lose sales" thing was nerd-rage. But, now I'm starting to wonder. I realize ME2 is a lot of it but in this competitive environment I'm sure people have moved on.
Or, if you're like me, you just stop caring. I'm still interested in RtO (400 points still sat in my BioWare points account), but after the first week or two I just stopped caring. Some of the reactions were utterly ridiculous IMHO and completely uncalled for, but I did agree with the general sentiment that something was wrong and the situation was just a complete mess.
I understand BioWare are truly trying to change this around, but either the damage has been done and BioWare will learn or nothing'll come of it. I'm sure BioWare will come back fighting though, they're a great company and one of the few I truly respect.

That's a somewhat vague comment about a possible status update! BioWare may not want to leave us in the dark but so far that seems to be exactly what is happening! Would it be so difficult to create a locked "update on RtO" thread that BioWare staff actually update with info at least once a week? Even if it's a simple "nothing new to report this week" update!Victor Wachter wrote...

I seem to remember the same thing happening about 5 days ago: A BW employee posted saying update was in the works, everyone thanked him for saying this, then nothing came of it. Don't get me wrong, I am no troll and want this thing just as much as the next guy. I just can't believe some of you are not at least a little more jaded/skeptical from this whole mess concerning RTO.

i think what bothers me the most is im just plain jealousthat some people got to download RtO and get the loot and play for an extra hour or so before it got pulled.

Oh, well. Maybe they'll finally plug it up for DA2 and end their long string of fail, but I don't truly expect it at this point.

I will reserve my "thank you" for when there is an actual update, not a dev simply stating they intend to give an update sometime in the near future. Some of you folks are so whipped it's sad.![]()
I second this. Thanks for what? For doing his job? Let's hear what he's going to announce us this time (maybe the same old news) and I'll thank him later. (No offence to Victor though, I know he's not responsible with all this DLC mess)

We've got the promise of an update, at last. I'm trying out the friendly carrot approach, in the hope of encouraging the community managers to be more forthcoming and actually talk with their customers; if there's no update soon, however, Bioware should await the stick of nerd-rage...and probably the righteous butt-kicking for goodness, too. :innocent:
