Gotta say that the xbox one emulation needs work. While the game looks fantastic on the xbox one, the framerate hiccups constantly. This, after playing for about 6 hours, then continuing on the 360. 360 takes longer to load in the textures, but does not hiccup like the other
Bummer for now

I hope it's the whole trilogy and not just the first game. I still don't have an Xbox one, but I have all the Bioware games and if they all worked on Xbox one I would have a much better reason to care about upgrading to a new system

How does one implement said emulator?

It'll come as an update on the XB1 eventuaslly as I understand it. Then any 360 discs you have the XB1 will be able to rad them and kick in. Much like the backwards compatability the older consoles such as the PS3 have. Of course if it's a download game I'm assuming you just access your old accounts and download them or whatever.

I have to say that from personal experience, after first playing the Mass Effect franchise thoroughly on the Xbox 360, and then on PC, made me realise just how bad the frames could get on console. Mass Effect 2 was the smoothest out of all three, with the third game being the absolute worst. The first game had quite a low framerate, too. I don't know if you're just realising this because you hopped over from PC or something. If not, then yeah, that's definitely a problem.

The ME 360 Backwards Compatible DLC showed up out of nowhere and I don't get people complaining about the game's performance, it works fine for me.

It has? Where do you find it because the DLC isn't showing up for me.
Edit: Never mind, turns out I am an idiot. I'd forgot you have to go into Manage Game in order to find that stuff.
