Shia sounds like that homeless you see yelling incoherently. You're amused at first, but after a short you just want to stay away from him.

I think it's actually pretty brilliant. I finally got around to researching the source of all of these goofy video memes and found this:

http://www.vox.com/2...vational-speech

It's not a real speech, but a satire of the over-the-top motivational speeches personal trainers and life coaches and exercise gurus and all the people who make their living saying "you aren't worth anything, but you can be if you live my life philosophy... for $99.99 a month."

The best thing (much more than the satire itself) is that he did the entire speech in front of a green screen. He KNEW people would grab it and use it for silly memes or Internet randomness. He planned on it, intended it. It's all part of an art project that he made sure was legally open-sourced so people could do exactly what this video poster did...

...that's acting, that's art, but for the 21st century of Internet memers and social media connections. Shia has self-generated a meme of himself. Think of the marketing implications of such an idea, the influence concepts. Generic, yet unique. Signature, but universal. Designed to fit with anything, yet sure to stand out anywhere.

The kid's a weirdo, but he's also pretty genius.

My favorite version of this meme is this one:

Well, he certainly had more success with it than Bill Cosby did.
