Acolyte, Hurricane combo is well tiring but effective. That said you run Arc Pistol on just about every kit in the game and it work well also.

The Acolyte on the Slasher and the Shaman?
That make sense on any character with Warp (detonating FE or Pistol power amplifier)
On a serious note, skipping Ballistic blades on Batarian soldier went for full Blade Armour.

I tried an Acolyte Shaman on my new account somewhat recent. Kinda has a strange rhythm. Why I didn't play it again.

- any character that has Warp, and is an asari, human, etc... in other words, not a Krogan or a Batarian. Can't use silly spacestripper pistol on a Krogan or Batarian, that's ridiculous. Use a real weapon. (not to mention that, as Loufi already pointed out, you're basically gimping yourself on the Slasher since his BE's aren't cooldown dependent, so you really should be using a real gun, like Venom, or Claymore)

the Slasher since his BE's aren't cooldown dependent
That is true only if you use warp + clusters for BEs.
The OP has specced into lash and I've come across a few instances where they've tried to use warp + lash for BE. Such a playstyle is cooldown dependent.

Well sure, but as long as you haven't actually specced out of Cluster Grenades, he's not cooldown dependent (even if he also has specced into Lash and is using Lash/Warp BE's some of the time- he still has access to 1-cooldown BE's via Cluster Grenades). I couldn't bear to watch the video past seeing that he was using an Acolyte, but I would certainly hope that he hadn't actually specced out of Cluster Grenades. And even if you are really worried about cooldown times so you can spam your Warp/Lash BE's, there are way more Batarian appropriate weapons than that silly pingpong ball launcher (like, any other gun).

And obviously the Shaman is cooldown dependent.. but still, same as with the Slasher, an Acolyte on a Krogan is just an abomination, a sin that would clearly have been punishable by death in the Empire. Way more appropriate, more satisfying (and yet still effective) choices out there IMO, even if you insist (inexplicably) on not using a shotgun.

^ Again, I am not defending the use of acolyte. Frankly, I don't care - if it works for someone, good for them.
I was just saying that Bat Slasher's BE output is not entirely independent of cooldowns, and is dependent on the build and the playstyle.

Sure, Lash and Warp both have cooldowns. And other kits that often are referred to as not cooldown dependent also have access to combos that have two cooldowns (Drell, for instance). I certainly didn't mean to imply that Lash or Warp didn't have cooldowns, or can't perform BE's. Only that he's not dependent on cooldowns for (powerful) BE's, so you might as well use a real weapon.

Any sane reason you're not using Proxy Mine?

Ignoring all this childish weapon loadout bashing.
Interesting gameplay nonetheless, would agree commentary would be useful though.
IMO I like when people differentiate from the norm in kit builds and playstyle wise.

Lash to Warp is better if your cooldown is low enough. Since lash has a faster cooldown then Warp. Only issue is to make sure you can target a lashed enemy fast enough since the prime on it is quite short. Only problem is lash animation is kinda long.

Yeah, I guess it's her job to instantly erect pylons wherever she goes. She certainly has the build for that.
I'll let Clyde expand on this.
