I started playing again for fun on the PC and I can say that the PUG games are really good compared to the past. Nobody has tried to shut me in the reactor core which used to happen all the time! 
But I noticed that most of the quick games are on Bronze. It takes a bit longer to find games on Silver. I couldn't find a game on Gold.
Are people still playing Gold and Plat? If so, when is the best time to find a game?
I find it difficult to get in a quick plat game, can take a bit to get a decent lobby unless you're lucky.
Gold is queues seem fast as ever. Only played one match of silver in the past 6 month so.

It's pretty dead some hours, particularly late night in my timezone -- basically right around now (I'm US PST, it's 11:23 PM). It's mostly long waits before getting dropped into some shitty GIP with 600ms ping when I queue up for gold. For most of the day though I haven't had any problems with matchmaking unless origin starts derping.
I do not know why everyone is complaining. I have been playing all day except 4AM to 10AM PST -8. It seems real quick to get into Platinum lobby like 1min MAX to 5 second MIN.
Just jump to store back and forth and search for lobby again if it is taking more than 1 min.
Nope, Gold and Plat are too hardcore at 60 FPS for us to play.
I myself only play narrative difficulty, though I hear a few brave souls have soloed Bronze before. With characters other than the Krogan Vanguard against Geth, even.
That's weird. Platinum, I wouldn't know, but it never takes me more than 2-3 secs to find a gold game.

I can get into gold lobbies pretty quickly during the day, but I don't play platinum so I can't really say there.
Gold games are still very easy to find, although quite often I join ongoing games.
But why would you ever play anything other than bronze on PC?

Gold lobbies are more or less instantaneous any time of day. Finding a decent platinum lobby might take some time though. Even longer to start one and wait for it to fill up.
I play a lot of platinum and I rarely need to wait long for a game, lot's of good and active players around.

The best time to play is the time you get a Xbox 360 and play ME3 on it!
