The romances suck for male Inquisitor's... Specifically, ones who aren't Andrastian.

And my counter-argument is "and yet that doesn't stop incest, so why should it stop us?".

That is so wrong...and yet, I laughed.

My big buff, totally atheist Qunari romanced Cass quite happily, despite their differences, it's even addressed directly a couple of times and felt quite fitting to me, if that helps!

Josephine's romance barely mentions religion at all.

Cass break up then she become divine.

It's actually left unclear.  Much to the annoyance of some Cass-mancers.

Not that I take any chances when I romance her...

Romances suck for your particular specific character because your character isn't tolerant of other people's beliefs. If no atheist ever dated a believer what a sad lonely bunch we would be.

I believe you're mistakenly considering your character to be the general rule.

This is why I kill Maker just to be sure. And I am totally sane. I swear.

Personally, I think it doesn't offer much variety for Male Inquisitors as far as religion. As for personality, it is great since all four are vastly different (concerning both gay and straight). I see where you are coming from with the religious part. Though Josephine doesn't speak on it often, she does believe in the Maker and I believe it qualifies as the same for Cassandra but Josie is just not overzealous about it. I really would have enjoyed a sweet or confrontational and cute or sexy female Dalish Elf for a human or Elf romance. The revelations of the Elven past would play into it. I'm satisfied with the variety but I understand your standpoint.

Heck, even the female Dalish elf talking with the male Chantry elf at the end of the steps leading out of the main hall seems to turn Andrastian.

Was genuinely hoping Vivienne was going to be a male Romance option on the lead up to the game. Was slightly narked when it became apparent from in-game conversations that it wasn't going to happen. :)
