So last night we came across a guy that was trawling through the XB1 leaderboards and inviting everyone to play with him, never spoken to the guy, never played before and yet I received around 10+ game invites before I blocked him. Others I spoke to on there said they were receiving the same invites, very strange. So keep an eye out for 'chrisbluefield', the king of spam.

I like the people who just started the game with their inquisition staff or the nice one they got out of their free chest that couldn't contribute if they had to, but want to automatch perilous endlessly so they can sit in the fade and leech as everyone drags them along.  They won't play a routine or threatening match to save their life, but if your group is set to public you can count on them.

I also like the people who are experts on the game in every single aspect.  They might not be able to do it themselves and can never take their OWN advice and they might have just started last week but by god they can tell you exactly what you need to be doing and how you need to do it and this is the best.  There will be a top 50 leader board player would could solo perilous sitting there as someone in the fade or who has been revived every game by the player receiving expert advice from this person.  They can even tell you that static cage or firestorm is a good skill cuz you didn't know that either.

I prefer Wicked Grace daggers over Dragon daggers (i really do)  I got schooled today

I get that too on my console.  Especially if you are closer to the top or the bottom.  When I logged on I would have 4-5 friends invites from people I've never seen in my life.  Even spam messages about free account credit and stuff lol.

People who are **** and act as if they are THE ****. Was in a game with this guy who wasn't good in any way and didn't have any good gear and acted as if he was the best player out of the bunch. "yeah i'm going to add these guys to my friend list because they are okay enough". Dude, **** off. You leeched our entire game. I don't want to be your friend so you can leech some more.

Oh and people who kick me out of a public threatning match I STARTED to level up my level 1 character because i'm too low. If you didn't like a level 1 doing threatning, why did you join him.

I know what you mean. I was at zone 4 when 3 people joined and booted me out  *it's only happened once though luckily*

I saw he added me as a friend yesterday and I have never played with him or even gotten the invites that you did. So, check your followers for this guy if you are in the top 100 on Xbox One and chances are he has probably tried to add you....

Oh I blocked and reported him since several of the guys I was playing with yesterday got the stalker treatment from him.  (On a side note does this emoticon mean I'm the devil, he is the devil or I'm just being devilish? lol)

Joined a Threatening match with a level 4 Arcane Warrior.  3 others were already half way through with the level.  One guy went into a treasure room and was taking on an Arcane Horror by himself.  This is when I joined in.  I go to help dispatch the AH.  Guy by the font is on the mic wondering what's taking this Legionnaire so long to kill the Horror.  As a low level AW it takes a few seconds for us to kill the AH.  Guy by the font: "Oh, an AW is there?  If I was an AW I would have killed the thing in two hits."

Me: "Dude, you an F'ing tool, STFU."  Silence the rest of the match.

I mean MAYBE if you can count two swings of the sword reflecting that beam barrage. Even then idk it's been a long time since i've used the AW much less spirit sword.

If you haven't already, try being a YouTuber... I mean, I have apparently been approved for every credit card I've never heard of and won like every contest for free vacations to countries that don't exist. I just need to give them all my personal information.

Let's not forget about all the "real" subscribers I can get by shelling out money to some Nigerian banker whom can't even copy+paste my channel name right.

The sad part is that laughing at all that is one of the highlights of my day.

I've had a few people the last week that ticked me off, whether it is totally justified or not I don't know but it rustled my jimmies mightily.

1)  Playing as an elementalist on the fire dragon level perilous.  I play solidly the whole game, use barrier like crazy, raised two lesser team mates multiple times, keep the lesser guys alive through multiple levels.  get to the dragon map, i prime and shoot the trebuchets.  I use two batches of bees, 2 health potions.  Both lesser players die pretty quick, just me and the leader who was a pretty good AW.  I go down once after priming a siege engine.  Get picked up by the leader, a bit later I go down again because the leader is off fighting baby dragons as I try and get another trebuchet shot off.  The guy starts berating me for going down again.  I was jut seriously ticked off by this.

2)  Last night in a threatening group as a paladin (templar).  Get near the end of a level and for the 2nd time a guy has gone down due to foolish aggressive play, I start to go to rez him and a couple of the guys start screeching in the mic, don't rez me, don't rez him!  Well except for one thing, a 2nd guy has just gone down and a new spawn has appeared even though we are near the door to the next zone.  Me and the last guy can probably finish it off but most likely not before at least one of them goes into the fade.  I raise the guy anyway, they just got BALLISTIC over the mic.  I quit the game.

I'm happy to run new players through some Perilous content in my groups if we have a spot open. That's totally fine. But be a team player, don't expect to leech in the fade the entire time. Use this experience to learn how to stick close to the guy casting barrier. Don't run off by yourself, die and expect to be rez'ed asap.

If you're not strong enough to solo an archer by yourself in Perilous, perhaps it's best to play a class like Keeper or AW, or if you really want to play a rogue or warrior, get barrier, run out to do your damage, run back when you need another barrier. Chances are, that Keeper/Elementalist will be ready to give you another one.

You have to watch this one though...and his friends.  If you go down and you aren't a level 1 or something they will make lots of "tea" at your expense.   The same applies to all of them as well though.

I wonder if they even notice at the end of the match when you did like 90% of the score?

Agreed, effort and common sense is all that is really asked in most cases.

I hate leaderboarders who refuse to die when I unleash a revenant behind them and run away in stealth.

I hate new players who don't know where they're going. I knew what I was doing from the moment I started playing.

I hate people who skip treasure rooms.

I hate people who open treasure rooms.

I hate people who don't use spirit resistance pots vs RTC.

I hate, therefore I am.

Just tell them it still counts against them now.  That usually shuts them up.  Sounds like they were a particularly virulent form of this type though.

Nothing about epeen, but a door story.

I once pugged with a team of a AW, a new player Keeper and I think I was a necro. The AW wanted to rush, but the Keep wanted to open doors, so I helped her clean them to make us all go faster while he did his thing. In the last room, he decided to open his mouth and ask her to only open the doors after the lvl was clear. She respected him only to have him go on, not waiting one second to get a free chest. NOw, I don't mind skipping rooms if the entire team is on it, but doing this to a new player is a dmove no matter what you believe.
Dude was rude as forks, and I was so pisssed at him I walked very, very slowly and did circles around the banner. He cursed me no stop, but I'm guessing the Keeper liked for she didn't kick me.

I'm probably an annoying player to some folks, but that's not what this post is about.

There is one person who I keep seeing over and over again on perilous that is a total leech. Never ever seen threatening. To note, at this point I'm sure he/she isn't a newbie anymore. Maybe the first time I saw him/her months ago, but definitely not now. Afk half the time, utterly ineffective the rest. Goes down constantly, spams for revives, so he/she could go back to afking or being completely incompetent. Never kick him/her though, because for some damn reason I believe he/she will play better or not afk this time at least.

Besides the personal attack, I find people who spam the emotes highly irritating. Oh and barrier classes that follow me around when I'm playing duelist. I can only hope they stick around for next game where I play not duelist or AW for that matter.

Gya knows this already, but I refuse to play with public game leechers and would rather fail a run and start over again. Just thinking about it winds me up. How can one be that selfish when playing a game, know your place instead of taking advantages of others.

people that skip treasure rooms, people that don't use press to talk and have annoying background noise
