Since the 1.0.0.2 patch the game has suffered severely on PC.

Performance issues, lag, stuttering, hanging, black screens, etc.

 

Will we ever be able to roll back the game to a playable state?

 

I understand having the latest version on the origin server,

but why can't we have an option as to which version we actually 

want to download and install?

 

Have the latest version on the main server, and have the alternates on mirrors

or different download locations.

Patch 2 is fine. 3 is the exploit killer. And the answer to your question is... no.
