Sorry, but I want my James T.Kirk fantasy RP-ing.
Yes but every woman he romanced had legs that bent the right way.

If someone paid me one dollar for every thread that pop here starting with "No more_______" I would be millionarie by now
I got paid for that I would start making them too but in all seriousness at least the past 7 bioware games we had inter species romance so there is no I see them stopping now
Yes but every woman he romanced had legs that bent the right way.
I wonder how folks would feel about alien romances if BioWare went really, really alien.
Are any new Andromeda aliens supposed to conform to relative human ideals of attractiveness for the sake of getting it on?

Yes but every woman he romanced had legs that bent the right way.
Only because he's afraid a turian woman would reject him by kicking his ass up between his ears.
Why bother with repugnant humans who are easy to choose genocide...
Salarians. Might want to throw krogan and quarians in there.
...who have nonsense religions...
All alien religions are copied and pasted from real human religions, so pretty much anything fits here!
...who want to create war at every chances they get...
Turians. Batarians, too. Yagh.
...who live and multiply like bugs...
Rachni. Drell. Krogan.
...who are judgemental and racist and what not...
You know, every time I meet that nice turian officer from the first game, or the lovely asari lawyer in Thessia, or pretty much any batarian ever I think wow, Ashley would get along with... oh, wait ![]()
Ugh...yup . please BW change the human to Alien so we can have Tentacle Vromance once and for all !
Humans are the best thing that has ever graced this universe. Those tentacled freaks should be grateful ![]()

Probably.
Really alien romances? Not gonna happen. Not the point of romances, very niche market...
The whole appeal of this gig is exoticism. They have to look different enough to be interesting, but not so much they're off-putting. Not scientifically plausible at all, sure, but remember, fanservice is a big part of this game. And people have been big on sexual fantasies involving aliens since, whew, I don't know, the Antonio Vilas Boas story? That guy seemed to have a chin fetish.
Way before that, if one stretches it to include mythological creatures. I can understand people with a penchant for exoticism, is when they call humans boring that I begin getting really, really worried ![]()
Yes but every woman he romanced had legs that bent the right way.
You are all disgusting heretics. Suffer not the xenos to live.
Wrong franchise, buddy.
Everyone with a good heart and dedication should have a shot at finding love.
I didn't go into space to bang a HUMAN.
But I am irritated that they basically retconned Quarians as being closer to humans, when they were obviously intended to be chitinous like the Turians in the first Mass Effect, at least (Body structure, biology, the mask resembling the "side jaws" of a Turian, etc)
Sadly, with half the DA:I cast being gay and the interspecies relations in ME, Bioware have shown that they don't care about the verisimilitude of their games, they only want to pander to Bsn.
Is there a one drop rule where a bisexual person is gay as long as they like the same gender?
romance options are options don't like it, don't use it, simple

What they were initially intended to be doesn't really matter. It's not a retcon if it's not actually established in the game.
Well we already know (Even before mastering space travel and warfare and such which is sorta important just a thought) Humans are the superior species. All aliens out there are our lesser and we are their betters. I mean whats humanity to do with all of our channeled hatred if we can't be xenophobic towards aliens?
As much as kissing raptor face Garrus disturbs me and I really don't want to imagine sex with him (thank you, fade to black!), I thought the romance was cute as hell because Garrus is just so adorable. I forget how physically repulsive he is and only see his personality. And his voice...
As it should be, I guess.
Now to all of you who romanced Tali: she could have died, you selfish horny monsters! ![]()
The way Garrus´ romance was written made me go Destroy instead of Paragon Control which I have done in all other playthroughs because dammit, I'm gonna live! (to quote Serenity).
His romance is absolutely wonderful.
Overdone !

If I made a thread "Only alien romance, please. Human romance is repugnant." then I would probably get about 100+ likes.
Cuz BSN is gonna BSN. ![]()
Nah, you'd found people disagreeing with you anywayIf I made a thread "Only alien romance, please. Human romance is repugnant." then I would probably get about 100+ likes.

I'm very much in support of them maintaining alien romance options. Myself, I went with Miranda over Tali or Liara, but I also went with Thane over Kaiden or Jacob.
I think these options are important because they show that cooperation and peace can exist between alien species; so long as we're sapient and capable of the full range of emotions, we can find common ground. And not to sound like a hallmark card, but love is the best demonstration of that. And that is what these romances do; show love's ability to cross cultural boundaries.
I do agree on the extreme Alien races, the Krogan, Rachni, Hanar, etc, don't want to see anything like that at all. Like Iron Bull in DA:I was fully against him being a romance option(was also against playing as a Qunari and romancing as them as well) But alas BioWare needed another Zevran, so we got Iron Bull.
But something like the Asari, I'm fine with them.
Well I respect your opinion, however, it's probably a guarantee that they will have an asari, quarian, turian... hannar that is going to be romance-able.. my advice.. don't romance aliens if you don't want it.
Everyone wins.
