I've noticed a tweet from two days ago on the BioWare twitter page saying that their presence will be at this years San Diego Comic Con 2015.  This has me kind of excited.  Will we get to know who the N7 guy in the trailer was?  Will there be some information given to us about this game? Like plot and character info?

SDCC takes place 2nd week in July.  I can't wait!

We'll be landing at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Are you planning on visiting? Make sure you stop by. 1f44b.png#SDCC @Comic_Con

They said in the Twitter thread They would likely do just signings, and that they'd share other info towards the end of the year (N7 Day?).

Well that's a bummer -- wish I was in SD though, I have some Mass Effect things that could be signed!

That's cool. I bet it's gonna be just like this:

"So, in Mass Effect Andromeda, will there be any multiple voices for the player character?"

Bioware: "Sorry, we can't say that yet."

"I wanna ask about the Mako. Will we be able to equip it with weaponry at some point?"

Bioware: "Sorry, we can't really say."

"So how does this connect with the trilogy?"

Bioware: "Sorry, we can't say yet."

I'll still look forward to it, just to hopefully get some tidbits of info.

Here is a tweet on MEA.

We may get something at GamesCom in Aug/Sept whenever it is. Most likely ComicCon is for the next DAI DLC. I want to say they announce DA2 Legacy dlc there back in 2011. I might be wrong on that.

Not to rain  on your parade but DAI marketed things that were cut in the end product.

Getting hyped at this stage sets you up for a downfall.  You must remember that until it actual says in-game footage and NOT representative, what you see is just marketing cinematics all designed to be eye candy.

This is so true. We want more info but then if they decide to cut things that really is a huge disappointment because you come to expect them and see them as already a given. And I wasn't even following DAI at all but was just didn't care for it. Can't imagine if I followed it and looked forward to all they promised only to find it not there. I'd have been really let down. Excellent point indeed!

The footage I think you are referring to wasn't meant to be shown to the public.

To be fair its not like DA:I was the first nor the last game to ever have to "cut" stuff from production.  Happens more than most people think.

That was also pre-alpha stuff, and subject to change. Some people seem to have missed that fact.

I agree. However, if it gets out to the public, you cannot close Panndora's box anymore.

And, I don't recall Bio ever indicating that what you saw may not be in the final game.

There is more to Bioware than just Mass Effect. They still have DA:I DLC to announce and they still have to shed more information/gameplay about the new SWTOR expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire.

Get it in your heads people, you will NOT get any new ME4 info until November at the earliest.

The siege of Crestwood and when you captured Keeps you were supposed to be able to dedicate them to one of the advisers. The keep was then going to morph according to that choice.

As far as I know they were never marketed, but shown to a select few behind close doors at PAX (I think), but some people managed to film footage with hidden cameras. What I know is that they wanted to implement those ideas but last gen systems were not supporting those ideas very well so they cut them out of the game.

People saying that they marketed those things is disingenuous at best. Now I know why game developers don't want to show anything to the public because of reasons like these.

stuff being showed behind closed doors in pre-alpha/alpha stages does not equate to (nor does it ever) what is going to be available in the final product.  Nor does that equate to marketing.

just because someone put it out on the internet does not also mean the company has to go back and deliver changed product.  As there will always be that "Well it would of been better if..." contingent that ALWAYS seems to hover around any remotely popular game, ever dissatisfied with the end result

From what I understand it was a closed door presentation at Gamescon in Germany. I think this situation perfectly describes gaming culture for you have people non-stop asking for more information and then you have others that will complain loudly when its not exactly like it was shown before release.  My personal belief is we will not see anything from Mass Effect: Andromeda until there is not any chance it will be removed from the game to keep people happy.
