The chests are guaranteed to have one superb tune in each chest.

The whole point of the chests are guaranteed superb rune, guaranteed armor upgrade, better chances at getting superb accessories, and any weapons are lvl 17+.

The surprising thing is that your math was off. 11 chests means 11 runes, not nine.

 I must have accidentally salvaged a couple of those runes. 

Managed to purchase 16 chests in total today, got rune from every single one of them so you are right, my bad.

Other than those runes, I also got a crappy lv 11 unique dagger that I salvaged straight away and that's it, no other unique what so ever. But I did managed to get another dragon staff who base damage is 1 point higher than my existing one during the process so I guess it wasn't a complete waste of my day.

The only things I have left for a complete manifest including all weapons, accessories, and armor are: Pyre, Sulevin, Wicked Grace, and Audacity.

My life is hell >.<
I've salvaged enough end game purples to make most DAMPers cry.

You will still get one or two when you least expect it, then your hope in the RNG will be restored. That is the magic of RNG!

I got a Glacial Staff and another rare staff in a Mage Chest.  Sadly they're both weaker than the Sunless Staff I'm already using.

Oh no Bw didn't give us enough inventory space for that. How thoughtful of them.

I keep low level unique and rare dagfers, otherwise it's mid grade to endgame blue/purples. I have one of every ability ring though including nonfunctional ones

It took five or so chests, but I got my second Superb Ring of Life Drain now. Whoo!

Did around 11 warrior chests got another superb Hok or 2 , and a few superb sunders and other bits of bobs of little note....only missing caliban and sulevian and maybe superb crit ring to complete everything .. had about 300g left after and purchased small chest and got a blade of red birth from it lol.. did a perilous frost dragon run afterwards and got higher base damage 2H sword than the one in my collection so night ended well..

oh my god.. I opened on up and got the fist of Medallian.......basically it allows me to be medallian.....any time I feel, like medallian and when I dont feel like medallian guess what.....I'm Medallian.....

Lucky you. I went for it but no luck. Well, at least I got 2 staves of the dragon this weekend.  That's the 3rd dragon weapon I got, after Maul and Bow. I also got Audacity, but nothing great for my S&S warriors.
