Meh, I've gotten used to a game's official forum being a cesspool of hate - this is relatively civilised and calm compared what is going on on the Bethesda forums.

Lol I forgot about Fallout 4. I imagine that lot being pretty hostile toward it.

I liked Blueprotoss even more. I always loved receiving broad strokes from his strawmen.

Those conversations just made me dizzy from watching them go around in circles.

It's just the internet.

Only the hardened are going to sustain 18 months of this.

Many sensible folk have disappeared and will come back in late summer 2016.

There's more positivity towards TW3 here than on CDPR's forums as well.

Really? What the heck are they complaining about? (He asked before realizing the irony)

Lots of things, some of which sound a lot like BSN gripes. The gutted politics and bland central plot. Poor romance content for Triss and OOC moments for returning characters. Bugs involving XP and disappearing crowns, reduced graphical fidelity, and cut content.

Because we don't care about the play experiences of anyone but our own. Thus we are willing to throw what other people want under the bus because it will enrich our own game experience at the expense of others, and we don't care. We are all here for our own selfish purpose and to hell with everyone else.

It's the American (and presumably Canadian) way after all.

Mhm...some people want the game to be Mass Political Correctness: Andromeda, others Mass Waifu: Andromeda, Mass ProMLG: Andromeda... Mass Quota: Andromeda, Mass Tumblr: Andromeda...and so on.

War. War never changes...and neither does the BSN.

At least our friends from DA community brought here dozen of romance threads to make OP feel better in his lack of trolling and sarcasm detection.

It's BSN, when Andromeda is released, ME3 will be worshipped, same thing happened with ME2, people need to complain about everything, the cycle must continue.

Most of them are right, legit complaints AFTER the game was released.

And let's be honest, the major thing is about Triss, and only Triss.

Ugh.

Very true but this new ME game should be out by the end of this year, in my opinion...I mean they showed they were working on a new ME game last E3...so it will be three E3's that will come and gone before the game is released.  Is that normal or unheard of?

TBH... in a lot of cases. It's kinda normal these days. They do it to continue getting hype for the game. Sometimes it's a masterpiece. Sometimes it's a dud.

Well... nowadays, everyone seems to be like; "Why to have any SP?", "No more alien romances!", "We should be the vilain!", "Don't do any romances at all!", "All I need is PVP!", "Do we need a plot?".

I can't believe my eyes. What happened to this community?

And people are asking, what is destroying the old BioWare. We souldn't be blaming just EA and look in the mirror instead.

Everybody is just still angry about the forum layout switch. Our quotation pyramids of doom are gone. GONE!

This community is fine -- just some fans really put their trust into BioWare and they (BioWare) broke it.  Think of it like this..  You have been dating someone for awhile, you are committed to them, and they are committed to you.  You think everything is going well, and they (BioWare) tells you they love you..  Turns out, they did love you at one time, now they don't..  You'd feel heartbroken...

So for some of them to be angry, hurt, bitter, cautious, uninterested in an old flame you can't seem to get over (I.E. still coming back to the forums and looking ME related news) shows that they still believe that they (BW) could still love them.

Me on the other hand, I love the the Mass Effect series.  One of my favorite games.

Gaming. . .has changed.

It's no longer about fun, unique gameplay, or quality plots. Gaming--and it's consumption of money--has become a well-oiled business.

Gaming has changed.

Self-Entitled Gamers play DRM-filled games, while developers use graphics as a selling point for 'good' games. Sales inside their software distribution programs enhance and regulate their spending.

Graphical complaints, character complaints, plot complaints, gameplay complaints…everything is complained about and kept under control.

Gaming…has changed.

The age of fun has become the age of entitlement, all in the name of appeasing and averting criticism from rabid fans, and he who complains to the system, controls the future.

Gaming…has changed.

When the medium suffers under total complaints, gaming becomes volatile.”

With all the toxicity that was thrown at Bioware over the years by certain fans and they were saying how a lot of it was deserved because of certain things, I'm not surprised Bioware broke up with them.

Not to say Bioware doesn't listen all fans. Some have very constructive things to say without being mean about it. That's the important part when giving a company feedback.

As Mr. Gaider points out, BSN isn't the only place they get their feedback from.

Nothing. This is just the BSN people. Thankfully none of them are working on ME:A.
If you want the good side of the Mass Effect fandom, go on Tumblr :)

Mass Effect tumble is addictive. As if tumble is not already bad enough...I follow any and everything ME related. I use it more than any forum. No trolling, from people who run ME pages anyway. And no whiners. Just people sharing their love for the game.

This community has always been concerned primarily about screwing aliens and bickering over who is featured in trailers. Don't know what the problem is.

Mass ProMLG: Andromeda...

If you mean a high skill ceiling, easy to learn and hard to master combat mechanics, and potentially a competitive multiplayer with E-sports potential, I'm all for that.

'For more then ten years our games focus were the brilliant plot, the characters and optional romances! Let's throw it all away and **** up Mass Effect!' Seriously, are you guys drunk? The reason all of us buyed Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Kotor was because they had a brilliant story and fantastic characters. I never enjoyed the gameplay in Mass Effect, but it never mattered, but you guys want to throw it away for Multiplayer? Just go play CoD.

Seeing as Call of Duty is a purer RPG series than Mass Effect could ever hope to be, it's not exactly bad advice.
