I just started posting here and already I'm seeing all kinds of inter-fighting, complaining, etc. It reminds me of the SEGA forums for the Sonic section.

That's... bad. Like, really, really bad.

This is normal. You should have been here for that Quarian booty sweat thread.

Well... nowadays, everyone seems to be like; "Why to have any SP?", "No more alien romances!", "We should be the vilain!", "Don't do any romances at all!", "All I need is PVP!", "Do we need a plot?".

I can't believe my eyes. What happened to this community?

And people are asking, what is destroying the old BioWare. We souldn't be blaming just EA and look in the mirror instead.

That doesn't make any sense. You're referring to things on this new Andromeda board and BioWare has been on the decline for years.

Yes, some of the stuff is ridiculous but a lot of complaints are valid. ME3 could have been the best game in their portfolio at the time but they messed up the ending so badly it soured not just one but three entire game's worth of experience for most folk. Inquisition had pre-release lie after pre-release lie told about it, and was nothing short of a complete and utter clusterfuck on the PC with crashes on the very first cut scene on almost every machine and, despite claims to the contrary in pre-release (bullshit) statements, controls that are clearly mapped to a console controller and not a Mouse and Keyboard. On a wider scale, Inquisition's romance isn't worth the term with it being ignored after a sexual engagement and it's idea of exploration is endless fetch quests. After so many bitter disappointments in the last few years, people are entitled to constructively complain in an effort to hold bioware to task and ensure that they really don't repeat the same mistakes they seem to keep on making.

start with the Mirandalorian.

Well once upon a time, shortly after a young and up and coming poster on the BSN joined the forum, the ME3 boards raged.  However, this poster did not see the ending debates and wars, not yet, instead he was consumed in another less known conflict, but by no means less terrible.  The Miranda support thread was in shambles, left in ruins by ME3 the Mirandalorians despaired, but soon this gave way to conflict.  It started innocently enough, disagreement over the character and whatnot, but it devolved, twisted, became mutated.  Soon the sides rallied to their appointed leaders and the Mirandalorian Civil War was become.  For several days threads popped up in rival to each other, posters attacked each other in vicious verbal attacks.  One day, the Community manager, Chris Priestly, decided enough was enough.  He took his mighty ban hammer and he smote the entire character sub-forum.  There were casualties on both sides, bans, absences, but it was over.

? I'm unfamiliar with the second.

Auld Wulf the Great, Auld Wulf the Glorious, his light shone too brightly and too shortly for us mere mouth breathing mortals.

The ending debates raged on the ME3 boards, however one man sought to end all debate, he was a man with a plan.  He knew and understood that what was needed was one unifying voice.  He wrote his thread in pursuit of his noble goal.  He strove to make us all understand the beauty that was synthesis, EDI in particular.  For he strove to undo the stigma against synthesis on the forum.  He did this by calling out the ignorant on their horrible ways!  For who could not pick synthesis?  Only those who get off on the gleeful murder of innocent synthetics.  Madmen who fetishized genocide and death were all who stood in the way.  However, the had help, the very moderators of the forum could not be innocent, they allowed such blasphemy to continue.

But lo it was not to be.  For Auld Wulf was not long for this world.  He was struck down, ingloriously as a common troll by the mods after he defied them and called them out on their sociopathy and endorsement of ludditism and genocide.

RIP

This place has seen things... Oh, the rabid extremes of fandom. The monstrosities the Internet has spawned!

I think Lovecraft predicted this with The Dunwich Horror.
