Drell like Feron (comics version) would be wonderful!

They wouldn't have to be a squadmate, I've seen the idea that we can romance an NPC on a colony we establish, and keep coming back to visit after missions and stuff. This would be neat, and allow for more potential options.

I'd love a drell romance especially because it can be a neat way to learn about their society and culture. I would like a drell that is not like the ones we've seen: I'd like for them to be an engineer that is not used to combat and has to get used to aspects of it.

Also, if they could be adorkable: I love adorkable when done right.

I honestly don't get the drell. I find that they look as inhuman as the Salarian, Krogan or Turian.

I rather like their appearance especially the multiple color of their skin and their eyes. That and what I've seen of their history and culture I find to be a bit on the fascinating side so I welcome the chance to see personal insights into both. I tend to like it when an alien looks alien.

Whether I romance one comes down to the same as other romances: whether I like their personality and if said personality fits with the character I am currently playing as.

Yes!

I'm thinking of space pirate myself and I would like this Drell to be against serving Hanar's and not feeling indebted to them to give another perspective. Not sure if any of that matters anymore in Andromeda though.

Yeah for the "sexy" alien race designed for females, the drell still look like amphibians. Meanwhile, the asari are just women painted blue. With head tentacles, sure, but that's what wigs are for!

Lips, chin, nose and kinda eyebrowns as well remind human face and their body is lot closer to humans in shape and size as well and those alien races.

+ they have pretty inhumane eyes and skin.

Only thing similar look-wise that Turian, Salarians and Krogan have is that they walk on two feet. Maybe some expressions if we want to go there.

Ohhh, I could dig this especially as an alternative perspective. I think it could be neat if they were pragmatic, maybe an oppertunist that might see the benefit in ruthlessness as much as they might see the benefit in kindness. Also, if they are in it for personal gain like wealth or freedom.

Chaotic neutral I think might be what I mean.

You clearly don't understand how being bisexual works. Being bi doesn't mean you're attracted to all men. It might not even mean you're attracted to most men. People get this confused.

I understand how "being bisexual" works.  No one is arguing Kaidan is attracted to all men.  The argument is how can a character be considered bi when the only evidence that they are such, is clearly from content that was slapped on to appease people, and doesn't even make sense with what is seen and known about the character in the series?  The crux of this "argument" is people pretty much assuming the character was "in the closet" the entire time or never cared enough to mention being attracted to men, despite being someone of a personality type that they'd readily admit to what they are attracted to, which is shown numerous times.  People are looking at this from the standpoint of a "videogame", and not from the standpoint of the actual character and what makes sense in the story.  It's funny how when Midnight Bliss brought up a what if scenario of Bioware making a later DA game where Dorian is now bisexual, people surprisingly got upset and said how it didn't fit the character and what we've known about him up until that hypothetical point.  Just like the point being made with Kaidan, interesting isn't it?  Dorian never said he wasn't bi, now did he?  So how would you know that he wasn't, maybe he can like women too, just because it never happened in Inquisition doesn't mean it can't, after all, being bi doesn't mean he has to be attracted to most women or even mention being attracted to them at all.  If they bring Dorian back for DA4 and have him as a romance option for a female character, it doesn't matter what you saw in Inquisition, he would be officially bi, and you'd have to accept it.

Would anyone else be interested in a turian romance that fits the KISA definition?

I love this idea! Drell separatists or something. This could be explored in a lot of detail, influences to draw from... oh the possibilities!

Space pirate I also second! I'd like the opportunity for us to romance a character (human or alien) who may remind us of some of the lovable rogues we encountered on Omega!

Knight In Shining Armor. I think others are better suited to elaborate on it than I am.

It doesn't matter why  the character was written to be bi in ME3. He's into at least one dude, so it's accurate to say that he's bi or at least bi-curious. It's really not that complicated.

It isn't a case of toggles or a character being 'playersexual' either, because he can express interest in Male Shep regardless of Shepard's own preferences.

You're firmly in head canon territory if you're viewing him as entirely heterosexual.

Turian's definitely fit into that category, most of them are soldiers and they are pretty knight-like I'd say. All that talk of duty and stuff. Unless we encounter very rebellious one- Garrus was kinda, but I didn't still think he was  that far from KISA myself.

I'd like to see more grey characters and characters that are in it for themselves for sure :)

I think Drell's society and how it's tied to Hanar is quite interesting topic that we sadly only heard a bit about from Thane. I hope that Bioware revisits it in the games, I find the backstory of the race quite interesting :D

Drell lips appear to be very similar to humans', as is the overall body build.

I have a bit of trouble imagining how a human might kiss a salarian, krogan, or turian.

Or a krogan.

I kid. I like the Krogan, but not that much.

Honestly, I think that's a great idea. Turians are my second favorite race in ME, and I would love to see a gay or bisexual KISA. The culture is a good place to build the character from. I'd like a bisexual or lesbian Quarian myself. I felt like I got a glimpse of them in the ME series, but I'm intrigued from what I did see.

On a side note, the Kaidan debate is awfully familiar to me. It reminds me of the endless debates about Anders' sexuality on the DA forums.

Nothing against drell fans, and I usually don't see eye-to-eye with Warder, but that's how I felt as well. It was pretty off-putting for me, so I don't think I could romance one.

I have no place to judge though, and I know it. I just requested a gay turian, so whatever floats your boat. :P. I do like the culture of the Drell and Hanar though, so I support a Drell LI for that reason alone. Just please, no more walking Greek Tragedies.

And this is just me, but no past traumas that revolve around a deceased love one. I am tired by cheap fridging/deceased love one = motivation in fiction.

It's not just you. Most of the LIs have had some sort of either parental or relationship issues, usually involving someone dead. Just looking at the ME games alone:

Steve--Dead husband, PC helps him get over it.
Samara*--Okay, so it's a bonus LI, but she's got daughter issues and blames herself. Has to kill one of her own kids.
Liara--Mom was working for the bad guy, and she had to kill her.
Thane--The ultimate hat trick of misery. Dying, dead wife that was due to his job, estranged son.
Miranda--Daddy issues doesn't even cover it.
Jack--Enough said.
Tali--Seems to be estranged from her father, and her mom is dead.

I'd argue that Ashley, Kaidan and Jacob (in ME2 at least) were the most "normal" of the bunch. And even then, Jacob's personal mission involves his dad doing terrible things to others. Yeah, enough is enough already!
