Just a philosophical standpoint, wouldn't aliens be more interested into interbreeding rather than just sex?  I mean that's all that will happen in gay romance is just sex...nothing (in a reproductive scene) will come from it.  Idk...idc...what aliens were you thinking of romancing? Krogans? lol seems like an ongoing joke in these forums.  A little bit of Wrex fever going around.

I actually agree with this to some extent. Aliens aren't like humans, there has never been any indication that aliens take part in same sex relations. Lore have never expressed it, neither have the books or games. I just would find having a turian relationship with a male PC strange. Hell there never has been expressions for turian human relationships, besides Shepard and Garrus and at first Garrus was a little hesitant. Come to think of it, I can't remember there being any other expression of human with another race, aside from asari, outside of Normandy. Shepard has been are only case of a human with someone who wasn't either human themselves or asari. I see this as another lore breaking issue. If EAware want to introduce a all new race that has no objections to this, then sure. But for existing races no. They trampled all over DA lore with Inquisition, don't want to see the same with ME.

We do know about the quarians, there was a book, Ascension, which went into a bit about quarian culture. They talked about linking there suits together, and it always was a male and female. Tali is also a small reference, because she only chooses male Shepard. Plus she even say she would wonder what he would look like if he were quarian, which means their relationship is even taboo in itself. Not only do we not see other species interested in same sex relations, we barely see them in relationship with other species besides asari. They are not like humanity, as Samara said: "If there were 3 humans in a room there would be 6 opinions" Humans are just that diverse, with there opinions and with there sexual expressions.

Aria and Nyreen used to be a couple, so there is canon lore that aliens can be attracted to the same gender. And I think there's a turian security guard on Omega who was also confirmed to be gay.
