Oh no, please no drell. I can't stand this species xD I'd be more happy about a Quarian (or a Turian)
And aria is an asari did you read the entire post? I said we had no other examples of other species participating in same sex relations inside there own race or with other races besides asari. As we know asari are monogendered so they don't count. Find another example.Aria and Nyreen used to be a couple, so there is canon lore that aliens can be attracted to the same gender. And I think there's a turian security guard on Omega who was also confirmed to be gay.

Edit: who is this security guard? I'd like to look this up.
To be fair, there are no other examples of gay male humans up until ME3, but does it mean that gay humans are not a thing in ME universe? If fans didn't complain, I doubt there would even be any gay humans in ME3 either.
The universe is pretty big, it's either by intentional omission by the developers or by the lack of encountering homosexual members of a species don't mean that it doesn't exist or it couldn't exist. If they want to include it in the next game, they could very well have.

I actually agree with this to some extent. Aliens aren't like humans, there has never been any indication that aliens take part in same sex relations. Lore have never expressed it, neither have the books or games. I just would find having a turian relationship with a male PC strange. Hell there never has been expressions for turian human relationships, besides Shepard and Garrus and at first Garrus was a little hesitant. Come to think of it, I can't remember there being any other expression of human with another race, aside from asari, outside of Normandy. Shepard has been are only case of a human with someone who wasn't either human themselves or asari. I see this as another lore breaking issue. If EAware want to introduce a all new race that has no objections to this, then sure. But for existing races no. They trampled all over DA lore with Inquisition, don't want to see the same with ME.
Edit: Also why would you want to partake in relations with alien scum, it's foul.
There is a male human with a quarian girlfriend, and he was trying to force her into an unsafe sex act, which she complains about to a desperate geeky turian, that also wants to have unsafe sex with her (because turians can kill unmasked quarians with a cough, just ask garrus). You can overhear this at the Eternity bar on Ilium.
This breaking lore thing really equates to BioWare did not want to include any homosexuality (particularly male) in ME universe for fear of backlash, and oh boy did they get backlash for portraying maleShep as potentially gay in some people's games (yet no backlash for portraying femShep as gay with Kelly in ME2 and ME3). Lol, and some of those people were all I am a christian no gays, but kelly/femShep cool kthxbai. Now there games are for everyone, so it is not too far fetched for them to show gay turians, quarians, drell, batarians, etc. Nothing in the lores indicates it is impossible for same-sex relations to exist in other species, turians based on ancient roman empire especially. It was never shown because of people, who are anti-gay, might get mad at EA (and they did just for showing it with humans human males).
As for this response:
Aria and Nyreen used to be a couple, so there is canon lore that aliens can be attracted to the same gender. And I think there's a turian security guard on Omega who was also confirmed to be gay.
Yes, Nyreen would be considered a lesbian or bi (if she also liked men) because the asari are females, but the asari are just being asari, so Aria is not (i think I said that right, so confused as of late). I remember Kaidan will hint that femShep is a lesbian for showing interest in Liara. Although there is no confirmation, yes the LotSB vid shows Preitor Gavorn with a male human, and the focus is on them in the bedroom and no context for why the shadow broker is interested in this scene, so it is suspected Gavorn is in a relationship with a human man, and that is what the shadow broker is focused on. Is this the relationship you were talking about?
In Revelation novel a batarian muses to himself that he has never really considered sexual relations with humans, female or male, but in a rage attempted to rape a female human prostitute in a batarian brothel. It was not stated if there were male humans enslaved as prostitutes as well.
Wait wait wait, there was actually a gay male expressed in one of the books can't remember his name but he was one of gillian's biotic tutors. I'm still looking for his name give me a sec.To be fair, there are no other examples of gay male humans up until ME3, but does it mean that gay humans are not a thing in ME universe? Daveliam already said it, but the whole "it's not gay if it's with an asari" is such a cop out false statement. Monogender means one gender: female. If a female from another species is sexually involved with an asari, then she is in a homosexual relationship. That female isn't necessarily gay, she could be bisexual or pansexual or whatever nuance you want to put on it, but she is no longer strictly considered heterosexual.
Or are you thinking that a fem!Shep dating Liara is "pretending" that she's having sex with a man and therefore 100% heterosexual?
Not a lot of drell love...
I'd be fine with a quarian or turian, but I was always sad Thane was exclusive for FemShep's.

I like drells too (Thane's voice was so good, I think.)
He's kinda space Fenris.I like drells too (Thane's voice was so good, I think.)
I don't really mourn that we didn't get Thane. I saw a few people mentioning that there was just too much happening with him in a romance. With his dead wife, estranged son, his illness, and the environmental message, he was less a romance interest and more a collection of issues ![]()
I'd really like a gay romance with a new species. With a new engine and new talent, I'm hoping for some awesome looking aliens. It would add to the romance for me if the feeling of the unknown was present. By now everyone's used to Quarians and Turians.
Given the new environment, presence of the other species quite likely, and necessary. It's just that I do not know of other examples than the ones known so far. That leaves the imagination and sorting between the known species.
All I'm saying: krogan and vorcha no, thanks. (And I also do not have interest toward elkor and volus...)

If we're getting gay alien sex in the office, I want a swordfighting and teabagging minigame. Like you paragon or renengade interrupt your way into a money shot. I also want tranny turians and batarians. That would be friggin awesome.
I'm sure Omega's brothel has everything you need.If we're getting gay alien sex in the office, I want a swordfighting and teabagging minigame. Like you paragon or renengade interrupt your way into a money shot. I also want tranny turians and batarians. That would be friggin awesome.
And let's not forget Omega's specialty: Hanar fisting, or should I say, tentacling.I'm sure Omega's brothel has everything you need.
* You forgot Vorcha BDSM, how could you? The shame!
Pour me some if you please, just in case the Turian T-baggin' lover comes back.Lovely, this thread has taken another interesting turn.

The ME:A forums should have a Drinkquisition thread just for itself. Let's just call it The Drink Effect. Wait no, THE DRUNK EFFECT.I could just get Traynor to fix up some cocktails...
And a turian t-baggin' lover? Will have to sit it on this one. Some people sure do have some unique wishlists for Andromeda romances.
