Would be interesting to see a lesbian Asari. Maybe Asari is naturally omnisexual.

Asari are a monosexual species, the idea of a "male" and a "female" gender is naturally alien to them.
For this reason, it would not be right to talk about a "lesbian" asari, but only about a person who happens to feel themselves attracted to a series of phisical/psicological traits which happen to be most commonly found in "female" specimens of a peculiar species.

Hot blue-skinned women are a must.

Or green. Or purple.

And the asari/human fics/arts are still active. :P

In most sites, lesbians are all over asari. I personally would love another asari LI because i can't resist them but this time i'd like the asari to be less cute and more.... Aria-like. Or Shiala. Something.

Ya just want Aria back as a Li

I only care that the Asari come back and hopefully they arent pole dancer  :P Another Matriarch would be nice..

I'm really hoping that asari aren't the bisexual/lesbian alien option again. Liara and Samara (and Morinth?) were fine, but it'd be good to try something new.

The problem with making an asari that isn't available to female PC's is that it totally goes against the idea of a species in which gender is of little to no importance. I mean, they will mate with big stupid jellyfish.

Do you want them to have mask on or not? Since it's hinted that they are slowly adapt to the regular air, especially if you side with the geth.

Definitely unmasked :D I hope they look beautiful but distinctly alien, too. Also, like others, I REFUSE to accept that crap photoshop job the devs did of Tali's "portrait." I am hoping for something like this:

That's why I would love an asari squadmate who already has a bondmate :) Maybe with another squadie.

If they did, there would probably be two asari squad members so that one is available to the PC. I don't think BioWare is ever going to not offer an asari LI in a Mass Effect game. But, this setup would probably be worth it for the entertainment value of everyone complaining about it in the forum, likely branching out into hate posts about that bond mate squaddie. Maker help that character if s/he's killable in the story.

Probably. There will be gay love interests and there will be aliens. No reason to think those won't overlap.

While I'm happy with the 2 options in ME, I was wondering if we could have gay romance with aliens. We have lesbian romance with Liara and a bunch of alien romance among straight males and females. I'm hoping to see at least one option with an alien for the gay choices.

Better have one good romance storyline than couple of shallow ones. Bioware, please, stick to humans. Humans are far more attractive than space oddities.

Seriously, I find it ridiculous that these non-human LIs use gender as the hurdle they're not willing to cross - something about Shepard's personality is attractive to them regardless, since Shepard's a human, Tali and Garrus both have an entirely different DNA base, and no matter how it works, because both parties are different species, the... "equipment" won't be a match... But apparently, because Shepard is identifying as a particular gender, they won't cross THAT line? It makes no sense to me.

So yes, bring on the alien LIs for either gender PC!

Qurians are practically human in appearance so I think it makes perfect sense that Tali would not be into a female Shepard. The silhouettes of male Qurians makes me think they look like akin to Bothans from Star Wars under their masks, but it has never been confirmed. If the sexual dimorphism was great enough between qurian males and females(which I can't confirm) I could perhaps see your point.

There are people who will not engage in sex knowingly with a transsexual who looks 100% like a woman. It's not crazy to think gender hang ups would exist with humanoids across the board. Although I find neither attractive I'd take Nyreena over Garrus, Linron over Mordin or Eve over Wrex.

I don't get your point, so dudeshep is perfect for Tali aside from their huge DNA differences because he has a dick?

It's not what "makes sense", it's because sadly Tali is straight.

You'd think that quarians would not want alien penetration apparatuses anywhere near their emergency induction ports.

What about a batarian as someone suggested earlier. They're probably the most human looking of the male aliens we see, and it is loooooooong overdue for a sympathetic Batarian in the story.

I think some survived. You could see some batarians in ME3, plus that batarian Anto from Omega DLC.

Omega also has lots of batarians.

With the nonsense biology powering quarians the issue isn't penetration, its fluid exchange. And that's ignoring the fact the whole ports thing being a fit is kind of silly independently.

Edit: Holy crap this sounds way dirter than I meant it because I wanted to be snarky. I mean saliva by itself should be a disaster when you think about it.

Batarian just weirds me me.. Tons of eyes and look like a cross between a pig and a spider. I find Quarian to be the most human looking male aliens. Turians with 2 eyes would even be more human looking than Batarian.

There is no way you could have come to that conclusion based on the sentence you yourself quoted. The sentence you quoted clearly says that it makes sense because both races look pretty much the same. Ergo, it makes since that she would find human males attractive as she would quarian males who I can only assume look akin to human males.

And, yeah, of course because she's straight. That's why it makes sense for her to be attracted to masculine aesthetics of human males.

Personally I think Drells are most human-looking, they have similar body of as humans only skin is slightly different and faces are quite similar as well.

Really? I think Drell are the most alien looking humanoids, on the same level as Turians or Krogan.
