I definetly wouldn't say no to a Turian Vang, but he must be different from Garrus, I'd like him to have a personality like Fenris.

I think perhaps the female alien LI shouldn't be an Asari, for a change.

Pretty awesome selection. Would be nice for the ladies to get an actual same-sex alien romance as well.

Anders is fine. Love the character (not so much his romance, the whole "You OK me and Karl..." thing rubbed me the wrong way, nothing like this must be present in ME:A).

I think the desire for a turian/quarian LI is coming from the people who wanted to romance Garrus/Tali with a same sex Shepard, which, you know, goes back to the point I made way back at the start of this thread, that it's ridiculous that the species hurdle, they'll hop without concern, but it's the gender hurdle that gives them pause.

Actually, for me, I had no interest in Garrus.  If I were being honest, I'd say that what I really would want would be a quarian (mostly because of Reegar) or a krogan (because they are awesome and uber-macho).  But since krogan likely won't happen because most people wouldn't be interested, turian is my second choice. 

 

My strong reaction against drell simply has to do with the way that they are built.  They are tall and thin and lithe and space ninjas.  As someone who strongly prefers races like:  dwarf, orc, half-orc, krogan, qunari, gnome, etc., I just have no interest in drell.  Unless we get the rare body-building swole drell who looks more like James than Thane.......

 

For females, again, I'd prefer a female krogan but......not going to happen likely.  So that leaves turian, drell, quarian, and asari.  We've already done asari.  Still no interest in drell.  So......turian and quarian it is, I suppose.  With a much stronger preference for turian in this case.

I like elves. Not DA2 and NEVER EVER again DAI elves! I prefer Elder Scrolls Altmers, and Warcraft Night Elves body (tall and strong, but not too wide), altough I love Fenris, but rather for his temperament, than his body...

I found attrractive also Anders, so I would satisfied a quarian(-like) or drell(-like) alien LI too.

I dont find attractive the krogans, but I like qunari (prefer DA2 version).

Garrus was one of my favorite teammate, I like him, and I would be happy with a turian.

 

In summary, the temperament is important. Be interesting and exciting the character, and his story.

You know the sad thing is they were supposed to be powerfully built and strong (able to neck snap a krogan), like second to krogan in musculature, because they- like krogan- are the reptilian species, which are apparently well built in ME. In the codex it says they have "denser" muscles than humans and "wiry strength", but after seeing Thane's nearly emaciated torso in the Dantius cutscene (from the side he looks really skinny with the flattest butt ever...just no butt at all), I thought they meant wiry muscle, lol.

 

In the trailer he is way more muscular and much taller, almost bigger if not bigger than maleShep. Look at his character model in CGI:

 

 

 

 

Now tell me this is not muscular! In ME I was really put off when my femShep was taller than him, and the modded ME2 romance cutscene with maleShep is even worse. Thane just looks so small. Imagine a male quarian will probably be 5 foot tall because male aliens that look nearly human have to look weaker than male humans in ME 

 

 

Sometimes I wonder if they shrink sexier male aliens (drell and quarians) down so they won't make Shepard look weak   Maybe in MEA we will get a 2 foot tall krogan with 2 missing from his quad (can't use another word or i'll get another warning point), like with ME2, the trailer's a lie

But I do think that new aliens as romances should wait until successive games - one of my big problems with the alien LIs in the trilogy is that they started out as walking codex entries on their species, they don't get to show off much character at the time because they need to explain the vital details of their species to the player. So let us get used to any new aliens, and THEN get a member of their species who's romanceable.

 

I think this would be my preference as well, this way we can learn about their race/the character without the word count being bogged down by a romance subplot, and save that for later. From what I've heard from a few people, and in my experience, Tali's and Garrus' romances felt stronger because you got to know them better as friends and colleagues first.

 

I'd also just personally like to explore an LI subplot with a more familiar race first, since we'll have (mostly) gotten the "walking codex" issue out of the way by now. Of course this is all assuming that Andromeda will be a series, and featuring one protag on top of that.

Those who don't want the slave brand as an elf needs to romance Solas and only as a female elf. You can only learn about the elven history and the slave brand unless you romance him. Romance content should be optional, not wall contents behind a relationship. It happens in some capacity in ME as well, you can only heal Jack and get her to soften up with your penis.

O'right, although I've made several lists of possible LIs, I still favor male Drell Vanguards or Adepts.

Didn't even think about classes, doesn't really bother me, though a drell vanguard would be neat, since we already had Thane fulfil the infiltrator role. 

 

And who knows, we may get newer classes in Andromeda.

I think it's great Solas removing tattoo just make romance more meaningful. And Solas didnt want to tell about vallaslin he wanted to tell Inquisitor he is DreadWolf, but panicked and instead told about vallaslin.

And Jack heal because Shepard is just genuinely love her, she never have someone who really love her, not just Shepard mighty penis
