I hope we don't get another Garrus for a gay Turian LI, I like Garrus, but I don't want a repeat of previous LI.

 

What I want is more along the line of a anti-Turian. Maybe instead of military and soldier like and competent, he could just be a bit unsure of himself and may mess up something along the line.

I think non-squadmate romances are alright if they are as important characters as in DAI's Cullen and Josephine. But Kelly, Sam and Steve didn't really have as much importance and interaction with Shepard as those two did with Inquisitor so they felt bit less important as romances- especially Kelly. Lack of time as companion should be compensated somehow if non-squdmate is LI.

This reminds me of when I was playing DA:I and wanted my inquisitor to romance Cullen...I was so mad I couldn't. I hated Dorian, and Iron Bull...heh, I wished then all characters could be romanced by both. But I think you make a very good point.

Hopefully Bioware will continue to take feedback on board and add a greater selection of same-sex options in it's future titles.

Did I say it's a sin to make heterosexual romances storyrelevant? No. I just think it would be more fair if sometimes the homosexual romances are the story relevant ones and not ALWAYS the heterosexual characters... Would it be a sin if the homosexual romances are story relevant? No. Would it be a sin if they make it equal and give everyone a story relevant romance? No. Would it be a sin, if they give us bi or playersexual romances if they aren't willing to make the homosexual romances story relevant? No.

Dorian and Bull are the only Bioware same-sex LIs I haven't liked... I wanted Solas and Sera available for a male.

This is also the reason why I want it.

That and because being all bi none of them is defined by their sexuality, but by their personality alone.

I wouldn't mind if there were, say 2 squadies and 2 npcs, but all of them plot relevant.
