The demo at E3 reaffirmed what i've been thinking in my head for the past couple of months. Where DAI failed to improve on the mechanics it borrowed from Skyrim, Fallout 4 will and by the little we've seen i'm sure we'll be in for another thrashing of DAI by another RPG. I predicted it with Witcher 3 and so shall i predict with Fallout 4. It is known.
Fallout 4 will outdo DAI?

You mean, the game that will abandon everything people usually criticize Bioware for doing? The TW3 praise is ridiculous enough since CDPR's made a career out of aping Bioware's style, but FO4 gets comical given how hard it's trying to borrow from Bioware with the dialogue system, the approach to storytelling, etc.
I've never been impressed with Bioware from a game design POV, but it's pretty silly to talk about Bioware failing when every single major player in the RPG industry starts with Bioware's design as the core of their product.

Hm? How is the comparison really valid? Fallout 4's main selling point is the open world in a post apocalyptic wasteland. DAI has large areas but was never open world nor claimed to be.

Seems like every other company is following up on the formula outdoing bioware while bioware degrades into mediocrity.

Oh, and I have to ask again. If you hate a game so much, why hang around the message board for it? Doesn't make sense to me.

DAI is an openworld game. It's not a sandbox though like Fallout or Skyrim but that doesnt matter. The fact is that Fallout 4 will be a better RPG mechanically speaking than DAI, just like Witcher 3. I was hollering the epicness of Witcher 3 before it released and i was right. I will be right again.

I also think Fallout 4 will outdo TW3.
Maybe.

That's a bit like people today saying Seinfeld isn't funny. I mean, it's pretty much behind most clever/great modern TV comedies. But only because everyone copied what made it great.
Like I said: Bioware is bad at the "game" part of game design. Now that everyone is capturing that storytelling magic, they've nothing left to offer that's unquestionably different from their comptetitors.

It seems you never give up bashing Bioware with TW3 so you are using Fallout 4 instead, Dutch. Hatred in Bioware is strong on this one since DA2 and soon you will bash ME:A and use Cyberpunk as another excuse.

I'll bash MEA if it turns out to be crap. Currently im hyping the game and it's my most anticipated game of 2016. We'll see. Hopefully it isnt crap.

It's at this point we should all give a rousing chorus of "I Henry the Eight I am"
By the time Fallout 4 comes out, it's not going to matter. The only thing of relevance in the whole ordeal is how Bethesda handles the mod issue for consoles and if EA is willing to use it as a model for their products.

I grew up with Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier... none of that garbage today can be called comedy compared to those classics imo. And if anyone tried to copy BW and EA, it wold fail epically.

MASH, nothing has ever come close to MASH, except maybe Cheers.
And as for Fallout, honestly, I'm looking forward to Rise of the Tomb Raider more. And I actually might buy Halo Guardians for well... Nathan.

Oh I can't forget that and Cheers was how I got into Fraiser!
I'm really not for anything but Sims and DA, but I'm about to get introduced to the ME series finally!

I did find it interesting that they are making the PC voiced now. I do welcome it, though, and they did make companions more interactive.
Commanding the dog to do stuff reminds me of the Fable series.
Still, forced to be human, just like Mass Effect. No ghoul option.

Patrick Swazy nailed that in Ghost!

To be brutally honest, I think the classics of comedy are Mary Tyler Moore, All In The Family, and others from that general era. Those others listed are good, don't get me wrong. Oh, I would add Cheers to the list, though it was from the 80s, not the 70s. M*A*S*H is... man, I think it stands alone as a genre unto itself.
RE: Fallout 4. Can't wait! Kind of irrelevant to DAI, but yeah, can't wait.

My mother got me into those classics too, but I'm an 80's child, so I had to use YouTube to watch those golden oldies!
@Daerog I wonder if it's a good idea. I know many didn't like it when Hawke and the Inquisitor were given voices.

Not only that, but they have a dialogue wheel as well... honest question, was it BioWare that started that, or did another game start the dialogue wheel?

I'm not quite sure. I know we had similar stuff in Japanese games that had a dating simulations. I know Sims had it too, but not quite the same way.
