Fallout 4 will outdo DAI?

...Why would we compare two radically different styles of RPG as if they were in direct competition?
I'm sure FO4 will outsell DAI, just as I'm sure that is not a useful indicator of the quality of either game.

Heh. I was, in my own drowsy, clumsy way, going more the way of the 'fun factor'. You hit the nail on the head...I'm a bit too wordy I think. Hoping to appeal to the originator that we need less of these attack threads. I haven't tried Witcher 3 yet...I am interested, but much of the content would be inappropriate for other members of the family to view. The shoji doesn't lock, so people can come in and out of my office at will here at home.
I've pre-ordered it. Thinking about the Pip Boy Edition. I know, I know...its something that will sit on my shelf right next to my MK9 bookends and that statue of Cole McGrath, but since my fall will be rather uneventful otherwise...why not?
That being said, I remember Skyrim on the PS3. That was...um..fun...right up till they patched it. Of course, I also ran afoul that Cullen glitch during the romance so...
...yeah, apparently resorting to name calling the game, the system and its mother does NOT fix the bug...
So hoping Fallout does NOT have such issues. Even though, you know, Bethesda...and their evil little app that crashes every time I try to collect water or upgrade my science lab...because everyone is even more irradiated than Slim Pickens after touchdown... ![]()
Sorry, I just REALLY hate that app right now. Maybe it'll get patched.

That wasn't really directed at you specifically, but hey, I'll be playing it FO4 (Waiting for a paycheck to preorder). I just get really exasperated when people start making comparisons like this, usually trying to find new ways to complain about DAI on these forums.
And yes, Fallout Shelter is annoying. ![]()
Though I do think its funny that Bioware took cues from Skyrim in the move towards open world and now one could argue Bethesda has taken cues from Bioware for its dialogue and voiced protagonist ![]()

I kinda noticed that AFTER I'd posted. That was MY BAD. Again, drowsy, but that's on me. And I totally agree.
Uncharted and Tomb Raider. Though, if you go back far enough, Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia. ![]()

Why does this type of thread still exist? I thought public littering was forbidden.
Because hijacking them and driving the troll nuts can be entertaining. I'm wanting odds on him starting to foam at the virtual mouth soon.

One of its major flaw in my opinion was its treatment of female characters.
Spoiler
After reading that, I went back and checked. Wow, you're right. Maybe it was an oversight or just something they never had time to finish. Still, a missed opportunity. Of course, by the end of it, I was what, married, had a queen and a crazy ship captain lover? And whatever Alyn Shir was...but yeah, kinda railroaded you there. I guess that IS the upside. Things change, and your options open up.
It's nice to have the freedom to choose, ain't it?

I am still waitng gor people to start complaining that you start out in a heterosexual marriage.
Wait no longer; I'm not psyched about that. We don't know enough yet though, and the rest of the game looks good.
@Mirrman70: That's easy - it's based off a backwater time in America... of course my gay protagonist had to pretend to be hetero.
That's pretty silly though. If I lived back then, I would be mostly alone, not marry someone just to keep suspicion off me. But even if I did, I'd certainly never have sex with them... enough to have a baby no less! It's annoying.

I will pick up and probably enjoy FO4 just as I picked up and enjoyed DAI. Because, y'know, I am allowed to enjoy more than one game. Also, I can play multiple RPGs without comparing them all to Dragon Age and then posting about it on the forums. It's amazing. I played one today without once thinking about DAI as I did so. By golly.
