You don't think he's overused across the industry? Because if i hear his voice one more time I might deafen myself by having two trumpeters blast a high C into both my ears.

You'd be surprised how many voices are used a lot in the industry as both main and background characters

I already know that, but I think Blum is # 1 on the list for most used voice actor in video games.

The male protagonist must be voiced by Danny DeVito.

He does show up in a lot of games.

I don't think it is so much that he is overused as it is just the number of actors who just do a lot of voice acting are relatively small. That's why you also have Jennifer Hale and Troy Baker in everything.

That's true. It's a shame because I do like Blum - I'm just sick of hearing him.

That's because his voice is most recognizable among the others

And because he's pretty much the only real gruff voice actor :P

I guess that's a possibility. However, I have a very good ear and I tend to recognize voices I've heard before. For Jennifer Hale, for example, I hear her almost everywhere too, but she manages to vary her voice just enough that it hasn't become grating for me to listen to.

No! Let me do the voice acting. All of it. I need an in to this career. Do me a solid bioware?

Honestly I do hope mass effect series allows for one or two squad mates to be new talent. Someone who has been in nothing, and this helps them. The rest can be seasoned, but the new people can be exciting too.

I would love if the series carries on when I finish college, and I get an audition at least. Then I can say I read lines for bioware even if it goes nowhere xD.

Dodger Leigh. If you've ever seen any of her playthroughs of those visual novels, where she does all the voices - it's hilarious.  Maybe as a memorable side quest character with a multiple personality disorder.
