I disagree. I loved him as TIM,
Martin Sheen has his own charisma. That's why. There's really nothing separating the way he read his lines from his interview persona, though.
I disagree. I loved him as TIM,
What do you mean? Martin Sheen did great job portraying the Illusive Man.
Yes. He did the best impersonation of martin sheen in his entire career.
Terence Stamp would be quite a steal:
Also, I'm in love with Ellen Page's wonky voice:

If Liam Neeson is added to the cast he needs to have a scene where he gets angry and rants. His angry rants are always epic.
The voice and wrath of god ranting at god is the definition of epic
Sylvester Stallone
Martin Short
Warren Beatty
Sigourney Weaver
Donald Sutherland
Linda Fiorentino
Dennis Franz
Dennis Haysbert
Roger Moore
Keith David was awesome and all...its time our commanding officer but none other than Samuel L. Jackson

Alan Rickman. I can't get enough of his voice. ![]()

How about Peter Weller? Not necessarily as the protagonist, but I could see him in a role similar to Hackett or Anderson.
Between Buckaroo Bonzai, the original (and best!) Robocop and his supporting role in the Star Trek reboot, he also has a long Sci Fi pedigree.
Hey I LOVED Emma Thomson in Treasure Planet.

In other news, I heard Johnny Cash is doing the voice for the main character. So excited!!!1!!!!!!!!!
Or Madonna for the female hero!
Christian Bale, the best thing would be if he did all voices in the game.
This would be a chance for Pauly Shore to make a good comeback.
While following this thread I started to think about possible voice candidates out of fun and one female game to mind from Babylon 5.... Claudia Christian a.k.a Susan Ivanova. I just fear that her voice might be a bit too mature now but she was amazing.
I would love to have Nathan Fillion and Ben Browder. No ulterior motives behind that at all. ![]()
As for female VAs, I'd really like Natalia Cigliuti (voice of Morinth and Sigrun) to return. And Sumalee Montano, but since she's a voice of the Inquisitor, it's less likely I guess. I do love those husky voices.
I think Richard Steven Horvitz would play a bad-ass Salarian, and Corey Burton would be fun, especially as a Turian or Volus. As long as Steve Blum's in it though, I'm happy XD I absolutely love his work, it's actually the reason I first got into Bioware's games.
As for celebrity actors, I wouldn't know who'd be good behind a mic. Some are brilliant on camera, but just don't work for a voiced character. Others *cough* Alan Rickman *cough* are pretty much amazing at everything they do, but probably cost about as much as it would take to develop the entire game. Still, these are a few I'd be excited to see in ME:
- ...Alan Rickman
- James Mcavoy
- Aiden Turner
- Benedict Cumberbatch
- Stephen Fry
- John Rhys Davies
- Michael Rooker
- Alan Tudyk
...I'd better stop before my obsession with Scottish, Irish, and English men becomes apparent.
I'm just gonna plug Dominic West of The Wire here; he's from the UK but did an American accent on the show, and has a pretty impressive voice either way. Here he is playing an American doing a bad English accent:
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
Morgan Freeman, as a mentor.
He has the voice and tonal delivery that would, imo, suit quite well in that role, having played a few of them in the movies.
Avoid
The American voice actor that played Bull.
Why? What's wrong with Freddie Prinze jr. (Voice for Bull)? He did great as Bull and James from ME3. He also showed a pretty good range and I think it would be cool to see more of him.
Okay, so, since I posted my fav for female, then I can just as well post my fav for the male protagonist, which would definitely be Karl Urban... without the British accent, like in 'Almost Human' and in the 'Priest'. I adore him and his voice.
