Andromeda: How Much Slop Will You Accept

For Andromeda, however, the honeymoon is over. How much of the sloppy work we see in this game would you be willing to accept in the next offering? Personally, if I knew the next game was rolling off the line with the same comedy of errors I try to ignore in each match, I'd probably just pass.
What do you think?

Andromeda MP will be a whole different beast. Probably with some Titanfall/latest COD whatever mechanics (wallrunning jetpacks and ****) with bigger maps.
As for sloppiness, I dunno. We'll have to see. DA:I was pretty buggy.

It's another 1.5 yrs before anyone sees the ME:AMP
I'm not going to worry about glitches now in the summer of 2015 and what that might/could be in Dec 2016, there's other more important things to worry about IRL than get your panties in a tizzy, and speculation only serves to make you crazy for no good reason at all ![]()
Deal with it after it has come out and then make your decision on facts, not speculation and BS hyperbole now

Hours don't mean much if the content sucks. You can easily make a 1000 hours long game, but with no substance.
Japan is the king of this. "Oh, we have all this crappy inconsequential side content no one will want to do, so let's force them to complete it in order to advance the main story! Because going to a notice board, seeing "kill 50 of these rare creatures" is content, right!? RIIIIGHT!?" IMO, when they do THIS, I'm out. And it is happening WAY too often lately.
That said, Bioware games are kind of known for being pretty buggy. I'd very much appreciate it if they could clean it up a bit.

Is "slop" code for Collectors?
I would be willing to play the game with the caveat that I would have to do so while a small child stood next to me yelling and poking the controller if it meant no Collectors. Because that would be less annoying.

What if there are Swarmers and Collectors?
I believe my statement was quite clear...

In general, ME3MP is pretty good stuff, or we still wouldn't be playing it. But there are layers upon layers of glitches, bad netcode, and shortcuts that went wrong. ME3MP had a couple of things going for it: 1. The disappointment created by the single-player campaign, and 2. The fact that this was the first foray into multi-player in the franchise.
The reason I think ME3MP did so well despite a rather large number of bugs was that it was the first time in any of the games you could get Mass Effect combat without the story.
Just drop in, pick a kit, suit up, and next thing you know the shuttle is ditching you on a planet crawling with all kinds of bad.
Before, if you wanted combat in the Mass Effect universe and style you had to either reload a battle you've already done, or commit to some serious gameplay time and hitting spacebar to skip convo you don't really want to hear anymore.
That's the itch it scratched for me.
Mind you, I didn't think I'd have to keep scratching it for another three years or so.
Pretty much my only deal breaker will be another troll store.
I recently maxed my manifest, and really, 761 hours of gameplay to unlock all weapons and level them up completely? That's bloody ridiculous. And apparently that's actually quite fast for a legitimate max? Guh. Told my old roommate last night that I finally unlocked it. He was mind-boggled I'd kept at it all this time. (He wisely gave up before Platinum even came out.)
You're right, the honeymoon is over. Now there are a lot of viable alternatives to this game's style. It's got to beat competition that's not with itself now.

I doubt I will pass just because of bugs and glitches, but with the state DA:I launched in I might wait to pick up the game until a couple of patches roll out.

Kind of leaning in this direction myself. Then again, they will probably have some pre-order perk that may be tempting enough to take the chance. Still plenty of time to decide either way.

Current levels of slop are acceptable. I mean, compared with Inquisition's MP, I think ME3's does pretty well.
But if ME:A's MP is closer to Inquisition than ME3, then I may just have to restrict myself to single player...

Well by certain standards (popular recent RPG with multiplayer video game name redacted) the release of Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer was ****** flawles.
I'm not even going to buy it. By the time the game comes out, I'll already have bought a nice Adirondack chair to relax in while I scream at kids to stay off my god damn lawn.
Hot day.
Shade.
Slight Breeze.
Kindle loaded with good books.
Near supercooled Light Lager or Mojito.
Hammock.
Life is good.
