I like the particle rifle build on him. I dont know I just feel his biotic explosion are weak.

Power build is only great on host (because of the delay of his orbs). So since I do both host and off, I go for an in between (mid radius total on Sphere), but usually focus weapon platform.

They are weak. But he's a good primer. Still the PPR works really good on him, prime and melt with Warp ammo. 

 

The second choice would the CSMG and it really synergizes well. Shoot till you're about to overheat, then Dark Sphere + Dark Channel and while you cast them, the gun cools down. 

 

And then the Collector Rifle if you want to roleplay a Captain. 

 

I didn't like the CSR on him. Too much tunnel vision,

I enjoy the power focus better but I admit that the biotic explosions leave a lot to be desired in the way of damage and force vs. crowds. 

 

I must say - the weapon focus build, specifically with the Particle Rifle, is obscene.

He's one of the most complex power builds with all the juggling of maxing biotic detonation potential. Really gives my CPU a workout when on host playing him power focus.

the Power Build. Everything about him is incredibly unique, especially his abilities, which also happen to be very powerful. It's a huge waste not to use those.

ACA's "power build" isn't about just BE spam, it is about more DOTS.

Any kit can wield a PPR and melt stuff. Many can prime with a biotic power and boost warp ammo.

 

But there is only one kit that can cause massive AoE damage with a power that primes and has DoT. It's unique - so the choice is rather straight forward for me. Always the power build.

But the magic bug build is only really effective on host or really good connection. Since the delay in the Bee Orbs is too much when bugged and throws the rhythm off. Why having a Collector Adept with Sphere set for 4b 5b 6a is fine enough too. Since this build can do it all.

 

This way you don't have to worry about promoting again to fix the all 6 build too.  >_>
