If we are leading the Ark, why not go with the bible? Noah. It is not the easiest name to give both sexes, but could work. That is just me though. As a title i prefer Pathfinder actually, sounds cool.

Maybe the opening of the game could see the protagonist performs an action that grants them an affectionate nickname that you can pick from a small predefined list. They are then referred to as this by close companions through-out game. Might be a bit more personal. Or might not.

I like the name/title Pathfinder. A little generic, but it works. How badass would it be if you had Swearengen? How legendary would it be if Tanner was a choice? I'd name him Karl.
