Getting back onto the console to complete my manifest. What's the best kit on console to farm with limited Expendables?

For early manifest I enjoy on-host pure CQ Fury or CerbGuard. Doesn't matter what weapon or consumables you have on as long as your cooldown is 200%. For the Cerb I even toss Structural Organasmic (or whatever it's called) Gear too, since it's all about Smash & bonus power Charge and vice versa (Geth Scanner is really not needed, while spamming these powers faster is).

 

Or you can be a lamer and play Trooper with pink pistol. Choice is yours.

Pure farming? Get a team of four and use GIs with armoured compartments on glacier/platinum. Learn how to missile speedrun and you're good. Boring as hell though, but if farming is all you want...

That will take too long, I'm thinking more on the lines of glacier + armored compartments.

I was hoping for something a little more enjoyable. Also, what's the rule of thumb on how many matches I can play before I should reset console?

^ Depends how many times you've fought Collectors and/or most hazard maps and some other maps.

If you're playing Glacier, you should be fine for really as many games as you like- (non-hazard) Glacier doesn't really cause mem leak issues.. Its when you're playing Goddess, London, haz maps, etc. that its an issue (or vs. Collectors).

What's enjoyable about farming? Do you think actual farmers wake up in the morning and are ecstatic with joy that they get to perform manual back-breaking labor for the next 14 hours?  Thats why its called farming. Hows about you play the game like the rest of us and play Gold using characters that are fun for you and picking up credits naturally?

GT with Acolyte is the ultimate no consumable easy mode, especially on Glacier or White

 

On host Slayer is also quite powerful without consumables

Ironically, I am thinking Human Engineer.  The drone could probably be programmed to help you keep track of your crop rotations and take any deliveries while you are out in the fields.  Incinerate would help you do some controlled burning to help prepare for the planting season.

Probably about 6-7 platinum games before resetting, if it's non-collectors and on normal Glacier.
