Hey everyone, I'm stuck in Redcliff because I can't talk to Owen. It just says the door is locked, key required. I know it should give me options but it's not. Can anyone help??? Thanks

Have you spoken with Murdock? You need to talk with him to start the quest that involves Owen.
Have you tried knocking? If the quest has begun then clicking on the door should you give you several options including picking the lock, talking with Owen through the locked door or smashing the door in.

If your persuasion is high enough, you can also ask Owen to unlock the door after you talk to him through it.

Yeah unfortunately it's not giving me any options at all. I've done all the other parts of the quest line(Ser Perth, Dwyn). I'm wondering if it's some kind of bug.

If you don't get any options to talk to him, it is most likely a bug.

It does sound like a bug. There's nothing that prevents the quest from activating, and I can't find a bug for it listed anywhere, so it's one of those once in a life time things I'd guess. Try an auto-save from earlier or a previous save before you talk to Murdock and if this time when you do it, it let's you talk to Owen, you'll know.

I'm also wondering if it's one of my mods causing my game to bug out. It's not the first time something is not firing correctly for a quest. I had problems with the mage starting area, where the statue wouldn't amplify the rod of fire to blow up the wall to get into the repository. In the human noble start, I was locked in the bedroom area after Howes men started attacking. Sigh...

That's always the most logical possibility. Mods can do freaky stuff, especially if they are have conflicting issues with other mods.
