They're probably the easiest to cheese with weapons kits. Especially with marksman or adrenaline rush classes.
Weapon kits can make easy work of all factions. Collectors don't particularly stand out. Collectors still try their hardest though - by using accuracy lowering powers, carpet bombing, staggering missiles etc.
A raider marksman kit will destroy all factions with equal ease if you can hit the head.

It is possible to cheese, but it's a lot harder. If a kit can cheese collectors, they sure can cheese other factions equally well. But the opposite is not true (most of the times).
But they do, having huge heads and easy weak points. Praetorians are easy to stagger lock with a strong weapon, hell any class can with a claymore I'm pretty sure. To be honest, a well played fury or valkyrie on glacier will roflstomp collectors just right. So will a drelldept, or a slasher...

Only if you blindly rush into spawns. With a stagger weapon, geth are pretty straight-forward with a fury.

Yeah, it's a lot harder, especially on open maps. You're also a lot less effective with your damage output against them.
Same thing with the Drelldept and the Slasher. Sure, they might cheese other factions alright, but they just *murder* collectors, because there isn't a single shielded enemy.

Not really, since you can't staggerlock primes. It's very possible to play her against them and do good, but they're definitely the faction that needs the most work, especially on open maps.

I still find the Drelldept superior in this situation. Tight spaces allow for more enemies to be hit by Reave and Cluster 'Nades.
I guess carpet bombing the everlovin' shiet out of everything is one way to impress the ladies
