new content is coming.....but not for majority of the player base....matchmaking ll stay crap...

That's exactly what I said XD Completely agree.

They might be bringing out new content soon but there's still major problems with the games netcode that will stop us playing it.

I agree the Netcode is rubbish, but, larger player base = improved chance to be matched in a game with other players..  But yes, I also find myself playing more matches Solo than with a full team in a Coop match, completely defeats the way the game is supposed to work..

That's the problem, because I'm confined to playing with players within the EU as opposed to in the US our player pool is far smaller.

Some people don't like forums or posting on them but I do personally. There's plenty of people on here I know that don't play much of the game anymore because they're had enough of all the unaddressed bugs and I can't blame them really.

Helped a friend get the 50 demon kills - I played Zither basically providing buffs. Disconnect, disconnect, disconnect, laggy as hell.

Eventually got the 50 kills then played a bit of Borderlands 2, where we had lag free gaming without disconnects, on far larger maps and an older game.

Bioware need to take a good long look at that netcode or servers. Especially if they're planning on integrating MP tightly with ME4.

If the netcode for ME4 is anywhere near as bad as ME3MP or DAIMP I'm not buying it.

Wow, netcode for ME3MP is pretty damn good. Most of my 1,600 hours of ME3MP took place in overseas hosts, particularly Euro hosts, running as smooth as a singleplayer game. In DAMP, I can never connect to people outside my region without blackscreening. There is quite a difference there.

Between Frostbite netcode, regional zoning and lack of dlc vs competition, the PS4 Australia community is almost dead. Haven't found a peri pug in 2 weeks, couldn't find anyone at all yesterday. I'd invite my friends but they're all playing ESO. I'll stick around for the next dlc but if it doesn't establish a stable player base then it's game over for me

I believe the real issue is a low player base than poor matchmaking , I play on PC from EU and even during prime time is hard to find ppl. To make a comparison , I entered yesterday night M3MP and , guess what? for the entire time that I played , there was no issue finding lobbies with players for silver/gold. It makes me believe there are more ppl still playing M3MP than DAIMP.

I would not be surprised if BioWare stops supporting DAIMP before the 1 year mark.

Is this a platform specific issue? I still find games on PC when I play on weekends for events, at least.

i can still find pugs on weekends. Still get crashes and infinite joining loops though. On week days on PS4 there's maybe like 5 perilous PuGs going on. I'm on an Ethernet connection, high bandwidth, and east coast of USA. So the only thing I can think of is that people swing in for events and then they leave. Even leaderboarders on my friends list are starting to dropout.

On friday I logged in to do the weekend challenge and couldn't find anyone to join my 2 man party all night.

Switched to ME3MP and got a full lobby within 10 seconds of making it.

Nobody plays DAIMP anymore. I don't even find quick match games when I get sick of waiting in an empty lobby.

Matchmaking in the game is unlike any other ive seen before. Its pathetically bad, and its the sole reason that I play this only to do weekend challenges now.

I had to boycott doing the FC. (Thankfully got all the weapons and challenges finished finally). It's less xp efficient per hour, and WAY less consistent in terms of connectivity with friends or public players. I also find that when creating public rooms on the old areas, I seem to get more ppl to join and join sooner. The biggest issue of trying to solo a FC run on public, is that by zone 4, enough ppl join and then crash your system, and you don't get to join back in.

Until they fix matchmaking, and/or the FC connectivity issues, safer to just join/start matches in the old areas.

Matchmaking latency value matching would probably crap on us trying to pug together anyway :\

I'm not gone forever, just really need a break for a hit I think
