Bashing just seems like a waste of time and energy. Unless it's against those people. It's never a waste of time to attack them.

That being said, this last week seems to have gotten a bit nasty.  Am I just being uber sensitive?  It is entirely possible.  If I am the only one that feels this way, then it could be just me.

Seems your problem is with the people who have bitterly weathered all of the drama of bioware's game, and are looking for retribution. Many of us here in the off-topic section have a much more live-and-let-live philosophy. Ragging on the games, without raging on them.

BTW, who ever said ME3 ending made the forums go nuts, having dowloaded the EC or DLC for that few seconds, before I began my play through, if BioWare did that to mollify the mob, I imagine it was nuts.

Dutch and john_sheparrd are simply sad their ideas about dragon age are not appreciated. Their sense of entitlement is such they get really frustrated when somebody opines differently (developers more than anyone else) and resort to mocking and baiting to bring the person down. This doesn't bring them the validation they seek however, so they don't stop. The process by which you learn to come to terms with other people thinking differently and not getting everything you get every time is something not everybody goes through without help.

Now to mindlessly go game, as opposed to mindlessly complain.  Seriously, do feel better tho...even if it was mostly just me.

 

Never underestimate games you can play with people. Then again, that is going by my earlier definition of trolls being smart and classy. Some people can be played like a fiddle and unless your a total ass, it can actually be in earnest fun without trampling emotions or bloating already inflated egos. The most fun you can have is two good trolls in a jest-match. I've seen trolls that would give professional comedians one hell of a run for their money.

Eh, it was mostly just a couple people being very, VERY vocal and then some social snowballing. I'd say by the time the ME3 ending nonsense really took off, a majority of users on the BSN were only participating because it was the current cool thing to do, being radical anti-authoritarian or some such.

Aye, we're pretty nice. Maybe a bit rough around the edges, or for some people a bit too tolerant in certain areas (you'll know when you see it, trust me (ehehehehe)).

To me, personally, it's because I was a huge fan of both ME1 and ME2 as well  as DA:O but I think the quality I'd come to expect from BIoware has dropped drastically since those games released.
